This fancy and tasty side dish is called Parmesan Brussels Sprouts Salad. It has the earthy taste of roasted Brussels sprouts, the richness of Parmesan cheese, the crunch of toasted almonds, and the sweetness of dried cranberries. All the flavors go well together in the balsamic honey mustard dressing, which makes it a must-have for your dinner table.
Ingredients: 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and black pepper, to taste. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted. 1/4 cup dried cranberries. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 400F 200C. Put the Brussels sprouts that have been trimmed and cut in half in a bowl. Add the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread the Brussels sprouts out evenly on a baking sheet. Roast them in a hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly crispy. Set the dressing aside while the Brussels sprouts roast. Put honey, Dijon mustard, and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl and mix them together with a whisk. Put away. Take the Brussels sprouts out of the oven and let them cool down a bit after they are done roasting. Roasted Brussels sprouts, grated Parmesan cheese, toasted almond slices, and dried cranberries should all be put in a large salad bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix everything together until it's well covered. As a fancy and tasty side dish, serve the Parmesan Brussels Sprouts Salad right away.
