Ingredients: 1 cup 225g unsalted butter. 8 ounces 225g semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped. 1 and 1/4 cups 250g granulated sugar. 4 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 3/4 cup 90g all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup 30g unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup 180g semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and chopped chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually pour melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring until smooth. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips or chunks. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
