A bit more elaboration on what I had in mind for this piece. The idea was that YC would hurt LL (k1nky undertones aside but they're there 🫣) to get a reaction out of him so that LL would hurt him back because he wants a substitute for his unresolved emotions towards SC. He still feels guilty n thinks SC has the right to be upset with him for not being able to save him when he could. Using LL as a replacement for an upset SC. Hope this makes sense, if not uhmmm, SoulCommon choking n YC resorting to pulling LL's pigtails ₍ᐢ๑•ᴗ•๑ᐢ₎ﾉﾞ

I love the Replacement Goldfish Trope for LL so much. It'd be so angsty in a Civ!LL AU where he's only approached n given opportunities ONLY bc of who he resembles (wait thts canon). It was Nice then, it's SC in this case. Applying this to his relationships with YC n SD bc why not-
