The trail starts with Ploint, the Sebb for us who haven't bought VoE yet. Ploint is doing some weirdo science out in the swamp, with the goal to "revolutionize home security" by infusing raptor eggs with powerful magic with matrix shards. Before the magic-infused raptor is hatched, Ploint also adds some "norn growth hormone" to the mix ensuring that it's huge. Presumably this experiment is a failure, since it instantly tries to kill him.

The trail then goes to the Snow Leopard Lounge in Hoelbrak, the location of Keil Hallinger's Zoo. Keil Hallinger bought a raptor which turned out to be unexpectedly large from an unnamed Asura who passes through Hoelbrak sometimes. Much like the norn-infused magic-infused raptor from Ploint, this raptor quickly ate its neighbors in the zoo.

Lastly, the trail ends in Biocauldron Alchemics, an Inquest base just northwest of where we started. Here there are three data consoles:

So we have the foundation laid out for an Asura experimenting with Norn growth hormones. Of course a mad scientist wouldn't be the first guinea pig though, which finally brings us to the part where I get to make stuff up.

My character is an intern, named Toiq. The first batch was stolen from Ploint and improperly distilled down to the Norn growth hormones, still including the magic-infused raptor as well. When Toiq was infused with what was thought to be distilled Norn growth hormones, the lingering magic-infused raptor sank its claws in first. The result was E.N.I.M.I.R.I.A. (Experimental Norn-Infused-Magic-Infused-Raptor-Infused Asura)
