         𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓’𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐊𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 ,  𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 . . 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌  like it used to be before things were thrust into her husband’s lap after the death of his father !    it’s never just her && him anymore . .someone is never far behind.  someone always has to be present unless ordered otherwise && kay can’t help but just , as simple as it is ,  𝙼𝙸𝚂𝚂 𝙷𝙴𝚁 𝙷𝚄𝚂𝙱𝙰𝙽𝙳.   a soft breath is taken in ,  eyes coming to open where her mind seemed to doze off for a moment━head remains rested on his chest, body drawn in close as it always was when the pair actually got to sleep in the same bed at the same time.   arm is lazily drawn over michael’s chest ,  hand rested near rib cage where eyes easily focus on the wedding ring she’d never taken off . . not once despite everything.    feelings get away from her in this moment of quiet , in this moment of cherishing.  she can speak her mind with him , she always has.      ;          ❝  i miss you. ❞   she’d whispered knowing well enough he was listening ,    ❝  i knew what i was getting myself in when i married you , i know that , but i just- i wish we had more time together.  i feel like i never see you && michael . . you’re always in danger━ ❞   words are spoken almost lazily ,  but the emotion behind them are real !     ❝  i just want to make . . sure . . you’re s-safe . . because i lov-i love you. ❞    little by little kay’s falling asleep , body relaxing against him && before mind falls completely the small kiss to the top of her head eases mind && heart.
