Alright, I just finished transcribing Numb Little Bug chapter 5 and I'm over 25k again. Yay (?). Except that I really don't know how I did that because Bee kinda doesn't do much beyond existing in the last few episodes of season 2.

Like, yeah, there's the harbour fight scene and then Smokescreen gets the two of them photographed and then he's involved in the Project: Damocles and Starsabre fights. And gets beat up with Arcee and then they're already on Cybertron.

What I'm trying to say is that he's mostly just in the background of scenes. He doesn't really have any of his own.

#so what I'm trying to say is that I'm very impressed with how hard I pushed the kid through the emotional wranger #also - every time I think about the chapter I get anxious because I feel that it's severely lacking in Ratchet's presence #but the thing is Ratchet is there - he has two bigger moments with Bee #they're just both in the first half of the chapter and then in the second half he's mostly just a supportive presence #Bee still interacts with him too - it's just that they don't have any dedicated scenes longer than 5 lines anymore #because I needed to focus the longer stuff more on other things #I also don't know how to give him another scene in the second half of the chapter and I also kinda don't want to bc this is long enough #as is #sooo. yeah
