    Silence filled the cold labs, broken only by the whirring and sparks of tools busy at work creating fatal contraptions to be placed into the hands of a Madman. Trial after trial, the Doctor finally found a conceptual design that played fairly well in his plans for a new device aiming to take down the Bandicoot.

    Though it wasn’t entirely of his own brain power. Taking ‘inspiration’ from a fellow colleague, the device would sport similar abilities to whom he was stealing borrowing from. Cortex isn’t a man to be equal with others, he fights to be better; he wants to prove no matter what, he could do it better.

    ;[ That time-obsessed fool will soon learn the true extents of my intellect. . .]

    He thought to himself, tirelessly hammering away on the work bench. Silence fell about yet again until a strange, clicking sound rang out, catching the Doctor’s attention, increasing as it got closer. Its sound was quite unique, like that of. . .

    High-heeled boots.

“Not at this point I can’t, it’s an integral part of my head now. Removing it would be akin to taking out half of my brain,” he confessed, tiredly rubbing his head. He couldn’t be cold to her, she actually seemed to care and feel bad about him instead of regarding him as an oddity, a freakshow.

      The boy laughed and shook his head softly, adults never seemed to get jokes like he did. It wouldn’t be hard to convince someone her assets were dangerous.
