Hi I am also deeply concerned about the implications and the cop sympathy already running through this series and that doesnt make us haters. YEAH LIKE... I was confused because this is far from the first time I've openly said acab on this blog, but it is the first time I've gotten shit for it. It really feels like people are only willing to support causes if it doesnt inconvenience them or make them uncomfortable, like having to face how one of their fave characters is being used to promote harmful stereotypes and such. It does seem really surface level, especially when a lot of arguments defending wade Ive seen are along the lines of "but he's trying!! hes a little dumb and clueless but his heart is in the right place" like. yes. not only is that a common copaganda strategy but surely you see why that itself makes him a bad cop right. that still says a lot about the police industry as a whole right. its not cute its deeply concerning
SORRY FOR THE WALL OF TEXT DHDKDK I just think that a lot of people dont realise that this is deeper than just fandom drama, this is actual real world issues that do impact people negatively!! yes its upsetting to think about but you HAVE to prioritise irl people and issues over your favourite media PLEASE

heyyyy! Does anyone know some books/fan fiction a lot like Hearth and home by @sonicaspeed123 ? It was SOOO good. Really any fan fics about Lancelot and sonic going back to sonics world, with there being a great time diff. Or just returning. I really recommend reading @sonicaspeed123 's work. It was really nice. Also @hext00ns 's work is really enjoyable too.
