ORIENTATION! Yesterday I learned a lot about the school and met a lot of nice classmates. I was glad to know many of them were from NJ! Things I found poignant about the presentation included how the accelerated program offered many student organizations and even study abroad trips, both of which I’m definitely interested in especially since I didn’t study abroad in regular undergrad at Rutgers. Yesterday also featured a Counseling presentation aimed mainly to get students to learn about stress management techniques. This is useful since a student speaker spoke about how she questioned her being in the program after getting a 59 on her first exam. (She ended up acing the rest of her tests for that class!) I can understand the ups and downs of an accelerated program after going through an intensive programming bootcamp 2 years ago and hope that the experience will help me here. Quelle persone che guardano oltre, non so se intendete. Quelle che si perdono a guardare fuori da un finestrino, quelle un po’ sbadate, che si dimenticano sempre tutto, tranne le cose che li feriscono.
