The Good The Bad and The Dirty
Dean x Reader
Words- 1285
Summary- Based on the song The Good The Bad and The Dirty by Panic! at the Disco. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu55xS1TdoU You and Dean are both possessed by and angel and a demon respectively. They can only become dominant when either of you are in danger, but prefer to try to completely destroy the other. They are both obsessed with names and try to forced the other to say their true name- something so awful that most beings would never do. You and Dean are dating and anytime you two fight and it gets anywhere close to physical, the two entities see it as an opportunity to gain control and continue with their mission. Song lyrics are woven throughout the story and are in Italics.
Warnings- Extreme violence, but no gore. References to specific supernatural beings from evangelical religion. Angst. No fluff.
-------------
Fights never ended well for you and Dean. You couldn’t control the outcome and someone always ended up nearly dead. You couldn’t stand the constant tiptoeing around each other any longer. You wanted out, but you knew this wouldn’t come without a fight. You steeled yourself.
Oh, the good, the bad, and the dirty.
They were obsessed with names, the two entities that possessed the two of you. Two sides of the same coin; one from above and one from below, they always insisted that the other state their true name. It was the calling card of the angel and the demon. They would have destroyed each other long ago, but they could not sacrifice their hosts. That was part of the agreement. The other part was that they would only come out when their hosts were in physical danger. But it was never truly about the hosts. It was just about the names. Always the names.
Oh, the good, the bad, and the dirty.
You wanted out of the toxic relationship. “The truth is that it was always going to end,” you stated quietly. “There’s this symphony buzzing in my head. It's just not going to work”
Dean clenched his teeth in irritation. “No, we can make this work!” he half yelled. His eyes were burning with anger.
“Dean,” you said, softly, “it’s like we took a market of filth and sold like summer.” Your eyes shimmering, you added, “I think I need to leave. I can’t be waiting around for you to get rid of him anymore.” “True, all of the good girls act so good. 'Til one of them doesn't wait their turn.” he said. The look in his eyes started to become more hostile.
You took a step back. Dean followed.
“Fine, then. Turn the memory to stone and I’ll carve your shoulder,” he became deadly quiet.
“Hey holy roller,” you silently prayed to your inner angle, a tear dripping down your face. The door exploded behind you. You yelled, “If you wanna start a fight, you better throw the first punch! Make it a good one! And if ya wanna make it through the night, you better say my name like: the good, the bad, and the dirty!”
Dean was on you in a flash, and shoved you against the wall. “Never,” he growled as he aimed a punch at you.
You ducked it and shoved his stomach. Hard. He flew into the opposite wall and crumpled to the ground. He stood right back up. Your eyes were now glowing a glorious golden color.
“The good, the bad, and the dirty,” you whispered menacingly as you stalked towards him. Across from you, Dean’s eyes flicked black and his face contorted into an ugly grimace.
“The good, the bad, and the dirty,” you stated again before slamming him down into the ground, your eyes hard. You were about to kick his stomach when he yanked you down by your leg and stood to tower above you with inhuman speed.
He rested a foot on your chest and bent down to whisper, “I know what it's like to have to trade…” You began to struggle, so he applied pressure and continued, “the ones that you love for the ones you hate…” Here, Dean grabbed your hair and yanked your head up while you were struggling to breathe. “Don't think I've ever used a day of my education.” You suddenly removed his leg from your chest and gasping, you tripped him so he came crashing down on top of you. You rolled suddenly so you were on top. He still had a hold on your hair. Your eyes flashed again, and suddenly he was grasping at thin air, your hair safely out of the way. You put pressure on his neck and said, “There's only two ways that these things can go. Good or bad and how was I to know that all your friends won't hold any grudges.” You held onto his neck tighter, his face turning a disturbing color of purple. “I got the final judgment.” Dean finally let go of your wrists and shoved you. You went flying and hit the opposite wall with a loud crack.
“If you wanna start a fight, you better throw the first punch; make it a good one,” he said, mocking your previous words and stalking towards your struggling form. “And if ya wanna make it through the night-” here he grabbed your neck and yanked you up into the air, “you better say my name like the good, the bad, and the dirty.”
He smiled an evil smile and his black eyes bored into your golden ones. “The good, the bad, and the dirty,” he repeated squeezing tighter.
“The good, the bad, and the dirty,” you choked out, your voice a quiet echo of your previous power.
Dean had relaxed his hold slightly, assuming that he was winning. He gave you an award winning evil smile and you promptly punched him in the mouth. He stumbled back and you shoved him to the ground again.
“And you been gone so long,” you stated, your voice quiet but powerful. You kicked his side and he flew a few feet. “I forgot what you feel like.” You kicked him again. “But I'm not gonna think about that right now.” You picked Dean up roughly by the collar. He was still reeling from the second kick. You whispered in his ear, “I'm gonna keep getting underneath you.” He seemed very out of it to you, so you repeated, but louder, “I'm gonna keep getting underneath you.” He was still unresponsive so you became frustrated and threw him into a nearby wall. “And all our friends want us to fall in love,” you commented more to the empty air. You turned, thinking it was over.
Suddenly you went flying into the wall once again, shoved from the side. Dean had stood back up and was now pacing after you with a murderous look in his eyes. “If you wanna start a fight and oh you did.”
You were gasping on the ground, but shook your head. “That was you. You better throw the first punch and you did.”
Dean smiled. “Yeah I guess I did. And when I do, I sure as hell make it a good one.”
You shook your head. “No, because I’m still alive. That’s not a good punch, and if ya wanna make it through the night, you better say my name like the good, the bad, and the dirty.”
Dean was standing over you now. “I will never,” he sneered, lowering his foot onto your neck, ready to snap it. “What’s my name?”
The good, the bad, and the dirty.
You tried to gasp in pain, but then angel inside of you refused to give up. Dean just stepped harder. “Say my name,” he growled.
The good, the bad, and the dirty.
As suddenly as he snapped into the trance, he snapped out of it. His eyes flicked back to normal. As soon as Dean realized what he was doing, he removed his foot in horror and knelt down beside you. As soon as Dean had done so, your eyes faded back to their normal color. The two beings had faded back into your subconsciousness. You suddenly felt a rush of pain; when the angel had become dormant once again, it was much more noticeable. The two of you cradled each other, surrounded by destruction.
The good, the bad, and the dirty.
Azazel. The Demon to Lead the Downfall of Mankind.
The good, the bad, and the dirty.
Samael. The Angel of Death and Destruction.
The good, the bad, and the dirty.

Boyce Avenue feat. Hannah Trigwell. - Want U Back by Cher Llyod.
love this version!! for some reason, i can also imagine this for may and drew (lol i imagine everything with may and drew XD ) and as friends, when they part ways and see each other after a long time, May mostly realizes she likes Drew and she figured out that he liked her back before. But she sees him with another girl and cries. (oh my feels ;-; )
May: Boy, you can say anything you want.
It don't mean a thing, no one else can have you.
I want you back, yeah, I want you back.
Then Drew sees May cry and it breaks his heart. he thinks back to the time they parted ways and regrets it. He thinks that leaving her would get his mind off of her cause he thinks she'll never be his. (oh my god!! my feels continue to feel heavy!! ;-; )
Drew: I broke it off thinking you'd be fine,
But now I feel sick, looking at you crying.
I want us back, yeah, I want us back.
Oh my gahd my feels are going to be the death of me :((( I must make a songfic again now!! 8D I can't help it! :))))
