Onya has been known by many names except his own. Raised among the Amazons of Ashiago (located in near Angola), Onya was born the daughter of Mwene Ashiago, Morowa. After discovering a piece of ancient armor, Onya became the βswordβ to Ares.
The armor, cursed in many, many ways, resulted in Onya being forced to kill his older sister. Ashamed and grief stricken, Onya fled his people before they could discover what he did. During his travels, Onya eventually resigned himself to his fate, becoming nothing more than a vessel for Aresβs will (participating in as much bloodshed as possible). At least, until a certain clone comes along to be his eternal rivalβ¦
