to kill a king would probably be a mob au, with steve from an opposing faction (!!! an irish gang???) who’s sent to try and get an in with the carbonell family, and what a coincidence that he bumps into tony carbonell, son of howard, the leader of the carbonell family, in this little hole in the wall sandwich place. so you got:

- steve ‘courting’ tony

- tony being very suspicious at first because he’s not an idiot unless he wants to be

- cut to: oh no, steve makes me want to be an idiot

- steve using tony to finally be able to take howard down

- and tony comes to steve, distraught, absolutely broken, because howard was an asshole but what the fuck did they have to kill his mom too???

- steve tucking tony into bed, knowing it’s the last time that he’ll see tony because the job is done and it’s time for them to take advantage of the family’s weakened state but steve lingers for a little because god damn it tony made him want to be an idiot too, and maybe all he had to do was wake tony up and they could just drive away, from all of its, they could do that! they could try, tony made him want to try to be a better man, god

- but when steve gets back to the compound…… it’s in flames

- steve runs back to his car, he knows what this means, and he’s about to gun the engine but there’s a figure standing across the street, hip against the hood of his old jaguar, smoking a cigarette

- steve fucking startles

because it’s tony

you better know (where you’re going) OOOoooh this would probably be a good title for a avengers 2012 canon divergence thing? where they drive away from each other but somehow still keep ending up in the same place, just drawn together. and it could be about them kinda just falling into it, sleeping together and really delaying figuring it out, and they’re hiding it from everyone but they don’t know why they’re hiding it, and idk, one of them finally snaps like ! just fucking tell me if you want to just keep dicking around or if you want something more because i’m tired of it! i’m tired of sneaking around just to kiss you, okay!

Blue, mostly. It’s a color that I like seeing, so that gives me a good feeling.

10. what’s something you’re excited for?

That’s kinda difficult since there’s nothing currently on my agenda which is a big ‘omg yes’-moment. I still have hopes that my boyfriend will propose at some point, so that’d be something 😅

18. do you still love stuffed animals?

I do. I very much do. There’s two currently actually in my bed, though I have loads more - my rabbit, which was given to me when I was born and is my oldest stuffed animal, and a red panda plush that I got myself last year. I love soft things, and stuffed animals are definitely included (to, occasionally, my boyfriend’s exasperation).

20. what do you want most in the world right now?

A couple of things that are mostly tied together. Overall, I think a) money would make a difference. Which I would get if I could get b) a job. Which would help me gain some c) self-confidence and peace of mind.

“How?” Tony said faintly, taking in the scene. There was a mess everywhere, and that was saying something considering the room was owned by two scatterbrained engineering students. 

“The dog actually did none of this.” Rhodey said, shielding the dog who panted happily. “I know you don’t really like dogs but-”

“Who doesn’t like dogs?” Tony said absentmindedly, crouching and stretching out his hand. “Hello sweetheart, what’s your name?”

“His name is Atlas, I found the owner today.” Rhodey supplied and Tony squinted up at Rhodey suspiciously. 

“Today? How long have you been hiding a dog in our dorm?” Tony asked. 

“Uhm, not really that long....maybe a day or two...or five.” Rhodey muttered, looking really hard at DUM-E who was gleefully running over a pile of papers. 

“You had him for five days and didn’t tell me?” Tony yelped. Atlas seemed to be completely unconcerned, tongue lolling out as Tony scratched his large ears. 

“You have merely been distracted,” Rhodey said, “Which...I may have had a hand in. A small part.”

“You sent that email...and gunked up DUM-E’s wheels...and rigged the piano...and turned Sunsets hair neon green!” Tony said, putting the dots togther. No wonder he hadn’t found the dog, considering Rhodey had been putting distractions all over campus for Tony. 

“DUM-E was a willing participant!” Rhodey defended himself. They both looked to where DUM-E was spraying the couch with fire extinguisher foam despite it not being on fire. 

“I was going to suggest adopting an actual puppy for Christmas, but it’s a miracle this cutie survived in a dorm room with DUM-E for more than a day.” Tony sighed. 

“He is really cute.” Rhodey said, sensing the slight forgiveness and crouching to pet the dog “He’s so soft.”

“Hmm, I’ll forgive you, but only because I can’t stay mad around this one.” Tony said, patting the small dog. 

“Then you won’t be mad that I told my Mama that you’d stay with us over Christmas?” Rhodey said hopefully.

my day was really uneventful lol. i’m not the best rn with my mental health and i’m still recovering from food poisoning i had recently so ,, yeah. really uneventful lmao.
