âNonsense, Gala-chan... Thereâs medical curiosity to be had about everything. Especially the anyagiâs unique anatomy.â

@somftchildsâ
The doctors had left the door open after her daily check-up. Not that they were really doctors, anyway, but thatâs what they called themselves in front of her. She was sure it was a lie, after all, no doctor sheâd ever seen had behaved like they had, and while she might not really know the law, she was sure it wasnât legal to take children from their homes without their parents consent, like they had done to her, deadly disease or not (And what deadly disease was she supposed to have? She felt perfectly fine, she hadnât even had a stomache in months!)
She kept this to herself, however. There was no point in expressing her doubts, sheâd realized, after the only thing they caused was for the âdoctorsâ around her to become more wary of her. She needed to find out what was really going on, and how to leave this place, and for that she needed to be underestimated. The less of a threat she was considered, the better chance she had of someone slipping and giving her a chance to investigate or run away.
Which was exactly what happened.Â
Mocha slowly approached the officeâs door, checking to see if the doctor had truly left her alone, door open, and no guards outside to escort her back to Biscuit Room. No one was outside. No one was watching.Â
But someone would be back soon, surely.Â
Mocha took her chance. Taking careful but quick steps, trying her best not to make any sound, she headed towards the side of the facility to the left of Biscuit Room. This was where she suspected the back entrance to be, where sheâd seen doctors go to and not come back until hours had passed, their uniforms smelling of fresh air. She knew more or less where the front entrance should be, but⌠There was the walk-in freezer that way, and she didnât want to have to be alone in that room full of giant corpses.Â
The outside had to be cold. There werenât any windows for her to see what the outside was actually like, but sheâd tried placing her hands on the metal walls at various times, trying to decipher when daylight was, and which sides of the facilities were east and west, but nothing. The metal had always been cold, extremely so. Then sheâd seen snow on the doctorâs boots, one time he had forgotten to clean them before entering Biscuit Room, and everything had made sense. It was a winter island. She had no clothes except the stupid white dress they made her wear, but she could figure out how to get shelter once she was outside. Sheâd find a marine outpost in town, alert them of the situation, try to get help for the other kidsâŚ
She quickly hid behind a set of pipes. The back entrance was within her sight, and a group of doctors was near it. They seemed to be talking between themselves, something about Master Caesarâs plan. It wasnât important right now, but she made sure to catch every snippet of conversation she could. Might come in useful, later, when the marines asked her to help in their investigation.Â
The doctors (guards, probably. They werenât really doctors, she had to remind herself again) approached the door. She felt lucky as she sighed in relief. Sheâd be able to sneak out, maybe sheâd ask someone for directions to the closest marine baseâŚÂ
Following at a careful distance, she saw the guards leave the facility and close the door behind them. No one was behind her, and there was nobody left in the room except for her.
After waiting a few minutes to make sure the doctors wouldnât see her trailing behind them, she slowly walked towards the door, pulling the handle to open it. Sheâd been growing taller these past few months, she thought. Back when sheâd been first brought here, she wouldnât have been able to reach the handle. She was still shorter than the doctors, but she was pretty sure kids her age werenât supposed to be this tall just yet.Â
To say the outside was cold wouldâve been a terrible understatement. It was freezing. She trembled for a moment, her body missing the warmth of the facility. She shouldnât go back, but⌠She wasnât sure sheâd last out here. The snow gathering around her didnât let her see much, but the facility didnât seem to be inside a town. Sheâd need to walk whatever distance was needed until she reached the rural part of the island, and in these clothesâŚ
Quickly making up her mind, she went back to the facility, grabbing a cloth bag hanging from the wall, one she was pretty sure was often used for bringing in supplies, and ripped it open, placing it around her shoulders like a cape. Thatâd have to be enough.Â
As she left the facility, she headed towards the side that was opposite from the sea. She had no clue as to how to pinpoint the townâs location, so sheâd just have to keep her eyes open for it.Â
Walking was cold, though, her young limbs too used to the warmth of Biscuit Room. And as open as her eyes were, there was no town in sight, not at least as far as she could seeâŚ
But there were footprints.Â
They werenât footprints like the doctorsâ, at least she didnât think so, they seemed more like⌠holes? Tiny ones, and there were plants growing near them. Someone else mightâve thought it was a coincidence, but Mocha wasnât so sure. She hadnât seen plants anywhere else on the island, especially not ones like these.Â
Maybe it was a monsterâŚ
The footprints were too small for it to be something big, but it could have needle-like legs and a bigger body, like a spiderâŚ
As she got lost in thought, crouching down next to the footprints and trying to investigate their origin, she heard the ground rumble. Lifting her gaze from the ground, alarmed, she caught glimpse of a shadow settling on top the footprints she was observing.Â
Something was standing behind her.Â
@somftchildsâ asked:
" i'll give you s sake...but only!! only if yyou don't t tell anyone i'm h here!! " ( baby yamy? baby yamy- )
âYou have sake...?â Yamato recalled the few drops heâs managed to lap up in the past, a miniscule amount. Previously Kaido didnât exactly care, but he still never gave him an actual cup of the mesmerizing liquid. Now, however, he certainly wasnât allowed anything...! He didnât imagine this weird-looking goat girl creature would have it, who even was she? But he wouldnât complain, heâd take whatever he could get. It could ease the pain if only for a moment.
âI wonât tell anyone... Are you not supposed to be here...?â
  âAnd sheâs just making it worse,â Law says, sighing as he watches all this stupid. Lamy really needs to accept that sheâs creepy. He has and heâs better for it. Doesnât even care that the soft looking goat doesnât like him.
Sure is a nice day for your subordinates to be plotting your death via plague flower. Zoom Zoom am i right fellas.

@somftchildsâ asked:
" p pabbi!!!! " oh god oh frick there's a goat running and JUMP HUGGING INTO USOPP-
   HIS GOAT CHILD!!!!!!Â
      âgala! sweetheart!â he was going to hold her in his arms and never let her go.
@somftchildsâ //Â
Really, sheâd never expected to see a fluffy... creature of sorts wind up on this island, lying on the sand like some sort of shipwreck. Robin swallows, forcing down the memory that threatened to tear her apart of a giant in the same situation, and approaches the creature.
âHello?â she asks, voice soft. âDid - did you need water?â
She shouldnât be so trusting of strangers. The two months of living after - after the incident taught her as much. But something tells her this creature wonât attack.

" ccan you talk to tthem too? i think they like yyou a...lot! " ( gala referring to plants-- đ @ Rowan )
Tiny hands with pudgy fingers petted oh-so gently at the thick, umbrella-sized leaves bowed before the two. The question presented to her was a good one, but she didnât know where to start her answer.
âI donât. . . use words.â She began uncertainly. âWe donât talk like how you and me do. But I feel them, and it feels like words.â Little Rowan let loose a disgruntled huff. Sometimes, finding the proper explination was difficult. She could, at least, continue with more confidence than before. âThis tree likes you too.â
