Something Taken (Tale)
Something Taken (Tale) is an AU revolving around a wayward, kleptomaniac Sans, and a lost human. They both wander around the Inbetweens and AUs, looking for the things that they’ve lost, and taking some things while they’re at it. They don’t truly know what it is they’re looking for, but are sure they’ll know whenever they find it.
Taker is a Sans who has lost something. He isn’t sure what that something is, but he has the invasive urge to take things from other places. He thinks this will one day result in him finding the thing he’s lost, but has had no leads or luck so far. Somehow, he learned how to take the power of SAVE and LOAD from Lei, and uses it to ensure his safety and eady travel throughout the AUs he takes from. He has a house that he took from a dying AU that he uses to store most of the things he takes, but hardly uses it as a home. Cynical and tries to act righteous in the face of cold hard reality.
Lei is a human who ended up in the Inbetweens after they lost something. They had gone up to a mountain to find that something, to find any something, and they fell out of their world in the process. They enjoy drawing on the walls of AUs, whether that be physically or in the coding of them. They lost the power to SAVE and LOAD on their own, but if Taker allows them to, they are able to make new saves or load old ones. They are easily distracted, and often end up seperated from Taker, wandering back to the house that Taker took and drawing until he comes back. Just wants to draw.
