isadora with you who cries at everything. something good happens? you’re crying. something bad happens? you’re crying. asking for something from isadora? you’re crying because you feel bad about it. watching a show/movie? you’re crying at every relatively sad scene.
you don’t have a very good poker face to begin with, but when things are going shit, you don’t stand a chance. isadora asks what’s wrong and your reply of “i’m fine.” has your voice cracked and already on the verge of a sob.
watching you get choked up just trying to ask her to get you something took the most time to get used to, and is something she’s trying to help you get better with not doing. when you go over to her and ask, you’re nervous, and your overwhelming hesitancy is nothing but obvious. her response is casual, although she does seem suspicious of how nervous you look with such a simple request. you go to say your thanks and leave for the time being, and that’s when she notices the tears prickling the corners of your eyes; isadora is confused and concerned, at first, wondering if perhaps she had done or said something wrong to you unknowingly, and she makes you stay with her and explain. you go through the whole explanation: you feel guilty asking her for things, and now that you’re crying you feel worse because you feel like it looks like you’re trying to guilt her into getting you what you want by crying, but you promise you’re not. isadora is understanding, yet there’s a hint of amusement in her gaze at how silly you don’t realise you sound worrying so much over something so small. she assures you that you’re okay and that she knows you’re not trying to guilt trip her — besides, you get her things she wants all the time, right? no big deal.
whenever something emotional happens, good or bad, isadora always looks over at you and can predict a solid 9/10 times that you’ll be crying. she takes your face in her hands and wipes your tears, sometimes kisses them off of your face if she feels you need the particular comfort. she loves to tease you about it when you cry over something light-hearted like a movie or when you cry over being happy about something, and somehow the teasing makes you feel less embarrassed about it.
