They say denial is the feeling that let's you know you're grieving. They say the rage is bound to seep through your veins and pull you towards the cold hard bathroom tiles. They say it's ok to let yourself feel becuase it only makes you human. But they never tell you how you can lull yourself to sleep knowing that you're rock is now somewhere among the clouds.

I don't know if you were taken away from me for better or worse. But I wish we lasted longer — for better or for worse.
