The adjustable strap closure is a bit complicated to adjust more than a traditional strap. Branded box and tin as g-shocks come in. I been wearing a g-shock for awhile; having to change the battery once from what I remember. The one I had was from the 30th anniversary party that featured Eminem and slaughterhouse at Hammerstein Ballroom for at least 10 years or so. I wore it so much the printed decorations have worn itself off and the wrist band is blank now. This isn’t the fancy watches with a metal body; but I don’t have to worry about the condition of this one when banging and clanging it like the others or the face cracking. The 2 pair pack has inspiration with Keith’s roots of being from NYC and having a business and career in SF where he opened his first store and continued to grow. The concept behind this was based off his tie-dye dunk high and the New York Yankees. The shoes in the pack come in a sealed bag and you don’t get to select the colorway. One of the bags contains a ticket for the Friends and Family 3rd colorway which is a gray and neon edition. The leather quality on these are great along with the details Huf logo and Nike jewel on the toe vamp. I haven’t cut the mid panel but apparently there is a hidden layer in homage to the tie dye under the leather. Swipe right to see my unboxing video. My first time going to this exhibition curated by Roger Gastman was more than amazing of a Friday. I get here at about 10 in the morning, opening at 11, thinking I was screwed to get these prints. I was luckily enough to get them, both. I brought just barely enough to get them, expecting the price to be under what the retail was. The prints were a must though so I splurged. I got number 37 of the signed, numbered out of 100, a certificate of authenticity, and professionally packed for transport gifts. They were clear sleeved and then corner taped and flat cardboard sandwich taped. They re-upped on some of the Martha Cooper train deck and the geometric pointman as well. There was one awkward moment. I was there to buy the print, but I also was there to view the exhibit. In order to purchase you had to buy the ticket price of admission. They gave us slips of which print we wanted downstairs, assuming they had only so many slips as prints. I felt fishy about the limited slips so decided I would like to purchase the print first and see if they could be held at the gift shop. They had to ask permission to do this and it seemed they wouldn’t do this for anyone else after I asked according to others that had to walk the exhibit with the prints in hand. So imagine carrying a huge cardboard sheet through the exhibit. My mentality was that if I paid for the ticket I’m tryna go to this exhibit and enjoy it hands-free after spending racks 😠. I spent 4 hours here examining everything. I picked up my cardboard and curator signed edition of the exhibit book and took the train with my bike and prints. One of a few times where I just couldn’t bike with this. Still super strong and quietly bombproof, but with a bit softer structure than we prefer.” This is my second pair of pants from Lifestyle brand Outlier. My first were the Ultralight Crop experiments. I still wear those frequently for the summer in extreme sun or extreme rain as they dry fast and have an SPF. These popped up in a story/post from Outlier. The price was unreal, I had to skip over it and then have a friend of mine buy a pair first. I went back shortly after and a MAJORITY of sizes and colors disappeared. I picked up the black 32. I should have gotten a 31 like my ultralights as I sag slightly not with these 32. The. Details can be read and seen in the pictures. Outlier goes above and beyond to source their own fabrics, usually Swiss-Made and expensive due to a small scale with different technical characteristics. Outlier is online-only growing via a fashion forum as one of the earliest Direct-To-Consumer new generation clothing companies. These come in a dungaree, 5-pocket cut that is relatively relaxed but not straight. They are extremely long with 34 inseam I believe and have to cuff quite a bit but the DWR on ‘em is like the Death Stars shield coating against water. They are pretty bombproof as I’ve been riding in them and active. The total was $69 from $169 I believe. The shipping was nearly next day since they are NYC-based. The pants came in a custom printed box, zip plastic bag, and even a return shipping label if I remember correctly. Thank you Outlier! So many shorts these days are marked up to a hundred or more.
