Iād say it sounds like a mix of ambience (and possibly something else) as well; while most ambient music sounds more āelectronicā than this the definition of the genre puts more focus on the lack of one rhythm a time, IIRC
Thanks for the answers, most of the ambient music Iāve looked up is definitely more synthesized but it seems like the right answer.
