Uzi is dealing with the repercussions of her actions at Camp 98.7 on AFTER she had saved the world and had been deemed a hero. No matter what you do and how long it's been, actions have consequences.

Months to a year after the world had been saved, Emily returns infected with her defective Solver variant. Now Uzi has to face one of her victims from camp every single day, the guilt heavy and unyielding. Seeing how she ruined this innocent girl's life, how Emily deals with the very same illness that got her killed...and knowing it's HER fault Emily suffers.

Despite being the one to control her at the time, Cyn gaslights Uzi into believing it's entirely her fault and that she DECIDED on her own accord to kill her campmates. This gets so severe to the point where she has frequent nightmares about it.
