Though it hasn’t been terribly long since she’s seen her cousin, a wave of nostalgia washes over her when she spots him a little ways away. Perhaps it is also the effect of hearing recent news that replays childhood memories of tea parties and dressup with stuffed bears. She tilts her head slightly, a slight tug upwards on the corner of her mouth. It seems as if those days are so distant and now the boy in front of her—no, man… no, he is still a boy to her—seems to have grown so much even in the short time they’ve been apart.
Citrinne approaches him with a sharp tap on the shoulder.
“Alcryst,” she says when she has his attention. “Is it too late for a tea party?”
Alcryst's heart leaps into his throat. Though he hasn't heard her voice in months, he recognizes it instantly. He turns to his dearest cousin with a bright smile. "Ah, Citrinne!! You're here!!" Alcryst hugs her, minding his own strength. He's so excited to see her that he fears he might crush her!
Quickly though, he pulls away from the hug. It's been some time since they've seen each other in person... Alcryst needs to keep in mind that she needs time to reacclimatize to his, ah... dour energy. "Sorry, it's just... I'm so glad to see you. The trip went well, I hope?"
