Today, I was sitting outside, reading The Joy Luck Club and listening to my iPod. Sometimes the music fits the book, and when that happens it's really cool.

So as I was reading about a young Chinese girl's wish to the Moon Lady, Yael Naim is singing about her alien invasion about the planet but sounding really nice about it. It's a cool fit for the scene. Then the song ends.

And on comes Hollywood Undead. I realize that I can't take this book seriously when music about vomiting up liquor to drink more liquor is blaring in my ear.
