For my last day, I decided to head to Hanauma Bay, but the parking lot was full when I first got there, so I went over to the China Walls and hiked down. Stunning. There were people that had jumped off the cliffs and into the swells. This beach is less than a mile from my Airbnb. It’s called Shark‘s Cove and it has good snorkeling from what I recall. I haven’t been in the water yet bc I have been working, but I plan to take an afternoon beach break around lunch til 4 and get some sunshine and enjoy the water. I just bought some reef friendly sunscreen at the little grocery by the beach- R reminded me this morning that sun is stronger than FL. The saltwater will be so good for my shoulder and back to get in it and move around a bit. Also, I ❤️ my Airbnb. The owner came by around 7pm to introduce himself and see if I needed anything. It’s a little two bedroom cottage that reminds me of the Cape Cod cottages from childhood. I have extra room so if anyone wants to hop on a plane and join me, go for it. Just rent your own car as I’m digging my alone time and I don’t want to pick you up or be joined at the hip, unless R decides to come.
