1: Talk about the first time you watched your favorite movie.

Oh, god… I don’t think I remember?  My favorite movie is Castle in the Sky, and I just know I used to insist on watching it on my birthday because my family got so sick of it I wasn’t allowed to watch with them any other time.

3: Talk about the person you’ve had the most intense romantic feelings for.

I’ve missed people so much/been so worried about them I’ve felt physically sick.

8: Talk about the thing you are most proud of.

!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW!

It’s actually volleyball-related, TBH.  So my senior year, I was on JV (4th year in a row and proud! Heh heh…) But the other seniors were on varsity and basically didn’t count me as a “volleyball senior.”  Anyway, it was senior night, and we were playing a team we could beat on a good day but who beat us on a bad one…  The barbecue, aka the “draw” to get people to actually come to senior night, was scheduled for DURING our game, so I didn’t expect anyone to actually watch.  But either way the gym was pretty full the way it usually is for varsity games, and even more so because senior night (all the other senior athletes were there).

Anyway, we were losing, it was like 18 to 24 (volleyball games to go 25 points, win by 2), no one was paying attention anymore because they figured it was over, and I was the last server… And I just got really mad, like “NO.  THIS IS SENIOR NIGHT AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO WIN.  I REFUSE. 

I’m not really a strong server, though; my mom actually thought I was going to lose us the game, and it’s not like I can go like “POW!” and thwack it so hard they have no time to react, BUT one of the things I can do is place my serves really well, so I just kept serving where they weren’t.  I got one to the very back of the court and one barely tipped over the net and they had no idea what to expect and were freaking out.  They pulled back people from the front row for defense and called a time out, but it didn’t work because stubborn mode: ENGAGE!

While I was serving, I was really worried I was going to mess up a pass, or someone in the front row was gonna try something fancy and hit it into the net again, but that didn’t happen.  The entire team worked together like clockwork, it was incredible, I’ve never seen that happen before, at least not on my team.

By the time we were at, like, 23-24 people started to notice what was going on and started cheering and then we won 26-24 (trying to remember if the coach called time out once or twice, actually) and everyone stood up and cheered and we all ran to the middle and hugged eachother and jumped up and down and my favorite coach slid into the middle of our hug and took pictures and cheered and it was marvelous.

Oh, and those varsity seniors who were ignoring me?  They lost their game.

But yeah it’s hard to describe but no one could agree how many points we had been behind by afterwards, and it really did feel like magic…

Wow, sorry, that was long.  Ok, next question.

9: Talk about little things on your body that you like the most.

Umm….I have some freckles on the backs of my hands that I like because my parents have told me to wash that dirt off my hands like twice because they’ve forgotten that I have freckles and have for years.  I also like my hands because they can do things and are apparently rather pretty.  Um… What else… *shrugs*? I like my eyes.  I like eyes, they’re so many colors…
