So, I wrote a little something, itās just some relaxing time with the Lin Kuei girlies, a little suggestive maybe but no ratings apply. Itās self ship so donāt get too excited but you can pretend itās you if you want. Hopefully this will help get me out of my writers block! Any feedback is always welcome thanks lovelies!
I sigh with relief as my aching body slips into the welcome warmth of the hot springs, enjoying the luxuries of the Lin Kueiās main temple. I have been sick all week thanks to my youngest son bringing home the flu from school, thankfully my flu shot from last year seemed to help and I was able to keep it going for the most part but today my body had had enough. I sink up to my chin in the blissful, restorative water before I hear soft footfalls, I donāt think much of them though.
āLady Sol, I didnāt mean to disturb you, I didnāt know you were here,ā I hear a soft voice call.
āSektor, itās fine, come sit with me,ā I call my husbandās second-in-command over, weāre quite close and Iām quite fond of her company.
āAgain my apologies,ā she repeats and slips gracefully in next to me, close but not too close to feel uncomfortable knowing I had not grown up with public baths as she had.
āHow are the new initiates doing? Bi-Han has been so busy getting ready for his brotherās wedding that he hasnāt said much,ā I crack an eye open to glance at the female warrior.
āItās going well, the new recruits are shaping up to be worthy of the Lin Kuei name,ā Sektor relaxing as if she suddenly remembered she could be herself with me.
āHowās Cyrax? I havenāt seen her in a few days, she usually works with the twins on Wednesdays.ā I reply a bit worried about her whereabouts.
āApologies my lady, I was away on a mission this week, I thought the Grandmaster would have told you,ā Cyrax suddenly appears before joining us in the relaxing water.
āHonestly he might have, I donāt listen to everything he says on the best weeks and poor Shixue has been sick with the flu all week and gave it to me and my brain has been a quagmire,ā I respond apologetically.
āAre you feeling any better?ā Sektor asks, her warm lips pressed against my forehead checking for a fever. āYou feel warm still,ā she frowns.
āSektor Iām in a hot spring, of course Iām going to be warm, Iām fine now, well except for my stomach but thatās tolerable,ā I try and assuage her worries.
āAre you pregnant again?ā Cyrax chimes in, her brown eyes suddenly lighting up.
I laugh loudly, āI hope not! The egg hasnāt even hatched yet, though Bi-Han would be thrilled if I was.ā
āHe does love children, you wouldnāt think it with his abrasive personality but Iāve never seen him happier than when he became a father,ā Sektor remarks sinking back into the water.
āYou can give him one next,ā I laugh and splash her lightly.
Her face goes as scarlet as her armor and she starts sputtering, āmy lady I couldnāt possibly I mean what are you talking about heās my Grandmaster and your husband!ā
āSektor Iām not blind, I know your feelings for him, itās fine I can share him again,ā I smile at her and give her shoulder a reassuring squeeze.
āAnd I can be an auntie again!ā Cyrax exclaims flinging water everywhere in her excitement.
āI canāt win against you two can I?ā Sektor laughs before sighing, āhow do I tell him though?ā
āI can if you like, or, or better idea, you just join me in bed one night and weāll seduce him together! He loves seeing Sareena and I together, Iām sure heād go crazy for the two of us,ā I grin at her feeling confident in my plan.
āM-my lady? The two of us? Together? With the Grandmaster?ā Sektorās voice rises in octaves as she continues.
āWell yeah, we share Sektor itās all a big package, you donāt get Bi-Han without me too,ā I explain.
āI-I understand and thatās perfectly acceptable Iām just afraid my lack of experience may displease you both,ā she blurts out flushing deeper.
āOh donāt worry about that, Bi-Han will LOVE that and Iāll help you out,ā I smile softly feeling the tired knots finally leave my body.
āToo bad Iām not in love with the Grandmaster too, Iām feeling left out!ā Cyrax pouts playfully before draping herself across my lap.
āAt least you have the kids to keep you company though,ā I laugh and pinch her cheeks lightly.
āThereās always Syzoth,ā Sektor ventures trying to cover up her perpetual blush.
āHe is cute, but I think Iām more into girls these days,ā Cyrax hums.
āThank you for volunteering my other partner,ā I shove Sektor playfully, before the three of us can get into a massive water fight we hear heavy footfalls.
āQin are you in here?ā Bi-Hanās deep voice calls out.
āI am but I have company pervert so no peeking!ā I call back sticking my arms over the girls chests as they both try and sink as far in the water as possible.
āWhoās in there,ā he asks sounding a bit annoyed as if he wanted some alone time.
āSektor and Cyrax are keeping me company,ā I reply.
āOh, good I just wanted to check on you since you donāt feel well and I was worried youād feel too lightheaded. Donāt stay in too long, Bingbing is looking for you for a bedtime story, I tried but nope itās gotta be Mama,ā he explains before turning to leave.
āWell ladies, looks like Iāve been summoned, Sektor come by tomorrow before dinner and weāll work something out,ā I give her a wink before standing up and grabbing a towel, I dry myself off and follow after Bi-Han who waited for me.
āWhat business do you have with Sektor?ā He asks, brows furrowing with curiosity.
āYouāll find out sooner or later, but I think youāll be pleased,ā I smile and stand on my tiptoes to press a kiss to my husbandās cold cheek. I pull on layers of warm clothing before donning my fur-lined robe and heading back into the bracing cold to read to my daughter.

Iām aging Bi-Han up, I donāt care if heās probably in his late 20s, early 30s in MK1 for me heās 47. Also I think Syzoth is younger mentally but heās a couple thousand years old because heās Zatteran. So, yeah thank you for coming to my self ship Ted talk.

The three of us go to the village at the base of the mountain on off days to buy sweets or boba tea and get pedicures. They always come over for family dinners especially for the mid-autumn festival, theyāre like the sisters I never had.

Made gyoza for the family last night, usually I let Bi-Han make the jiaozi he learned from Mama Zero but I was craving Japanese flavors and I know my way around a dumpling, so I took the reigns. They were plump and juicy, crispy and delicious, the kids loved them and absolutely demolished them. Sy couldnāt help but sneak one or two even though human food gives him a stomach ache. I didnāt get a picture of the second plate but the twins are getting so good at folding the dumplings and Xue is getting there too! It was so much fun helping Bingbing with the dumplings and even though hers didnāt look the best, she is only three after all, but they still tasted wonderful. I love cooking with the kids especially my daughter, not that I donāt instill a love of culinary arts in all my children, Iām raising my boys to be equal partners not misogynist wastes of life but Bingbing really has an enthusiasm for it! She gets so excited measuring the ingredients and is so meticulous about it, itās really adorable, I can tell sheās going to be quite the home cook like her mama. Itās chillier today so I have a nice big pot of bean and bacon soup simmering away today, whatās nice is the bacon is smoked in house at the Lin Kuei compound so itās not often I have to make a trip to the village for supplies, being the Grandmasterās wife certainly has itās perks. I do like going to the village on the weekends though to browse the vendors and get local specialties or delicious dim sum that I donāt often make myself. I CAN make char siu bao but they taste better made by the old aunties in town than mine do. So yeah I figured itās been a while since Iāve done a little self ship update or any writing about it in general so hereās just a little something.
Itās Christmas in July! Yes the kids get presents, we generally stick to traditional Chinese holidays and heritage but the kids are mixed so they do get to celebrate both their parents traditions. I donāt have a strong heritage, Iām Scandinavian but my grandparents were the type of immigrants to assimilate entirely and become āAmericanā rather than hold on to traditions, but Christmas and Halloween are very dear to me so we always celebrate them. Bi-Han loves me enough to even get the whole clan in on the celebrations and let the kids go trick or treating throughout the compound but Iām getting off topic because itās Christmas! We donāt get extravagant presents for the kids in July just what my family calls ālittle stinkiesā which are just like cute, silly presents like a new stuffed animal for Bingbing, some art supplies for Shixue and new soccer balls for Xiao-Han and Xiao-Bing. Usually I would make a nice Christmas dinner but July has been so odd this year that it snuck up on me so weāll just have a nice bowl of Bean and Bacon soup and some crusty bread, Bi-Han might make some dumplings as well if heās not too busy today. We put the Christmas tree up to enjoy and Syzoth is rather perplexed by the holiday as a whole as Outworld doesnāt have Christmas but heās enjoying learning about it and having a trial run before real Christmas happens. As usual heāll just have grubs and crickets as itās what he can stomach, I feel guilty not being able to cook for him but he never complains. Sareena has even gotten in on the festivities and donned an ugly Christmas sweater, we have gifts for her children as well but shopping for half demons is a little complicated but they really like sweets which they donāt get often so in addition to some toys we got all the kids some tanghulu. Weāll spend the evening watching Christmas specials and enjoying some hot cocoa, itās always cool in Arctika so itāll be nice. Iām excited to spend some quality time with the whole family before the chaos of a newborn comes along but weāre all excited about the egg hatching well all of us but Bingbing, sheās used to being the baby and isnāt excited to be a big sister. Iām sure sheāll be fine once the hatchling is here and she realizes her parents still love her just as much as before. I miss Bi-Han, I miss my happy little family I had with him before I decided to have a polycule with Syzoth and Sareena. I donāt regret expanding my self ship but I just feel like Bi-Han isnāt the type to share so it makes imagining the whole thing working well a little difficult. I know heās excited our family is expanding but I canāt help but wonder if heās jealous theyāre not biologically his this time? I donāt know my head has been all over the place lately and Iām probably overthinking things. Hopefully the egg will hatch soon and Iāll be busy focused on that instead. Syzoth is beyond excited and spends so much time bonding with the egg and chirping back at it, Iāve let him kind of take the lead because this pregnancy has been so unusual. Heās so cute with it and so happy to be under the heat lamps with it, life in Arctika is hard when youāre cold blooded.
