some of these are subject to change later to better fit their respective lore and timelines because this is actually the first time i've actually bothered writing anything about them besides a smut oneshot.
Solid always keeps a quietly concerned eye on Plissken if he's consuming a vice (not counting cigarettes) (due to, according to the EFNY novel, Plissken's past consumption of meth)
Due to Plissken being recognized as a fugitive and Solid as... whatever (I headcanon that Solid got an entire name/identity change after the events of MGS1), Solid gets Plissken his weed "prescription" (that I also headcanon that Plissken needs to deal with his eternal headache).
Solid was reluctant to try weed at first and only got it because he cared about Plissken but later yeah they get high together because they both need it for their own reasons
Plissken introduced Solid to NIN and Depeche Mode... and he loved it (I hc that Solid was always a bit of a shut-in even during his downtime, not really keeping up with the outside world too much until after MGS1. after that he tunes into the news like a mofo. like a fuckin watchdog)
One of Solid's huskies is named Bob. He had the huskies before they met, one of them is just named Bob as a coincidence. Plissken was not happy when he first met Bob but now he loves him too.
no smoking sesh is without a shotgun kiss 🚬💋
they may fuck but they prefer things slow and tender more than anytihing. that's not to say that they don't get rough every now and then but they both prefer to take their time.
Solid has jerked off hugging one of Plissken's leather jackets before (at first Plissken was not happy about it but later on he looks back at it as adorable... not that you'd hear him say that tho)
Solid likes to ride Plissken's... Snake. there you go. i said it finally. that's what some of you in the future will come to this post for.

Plissken tends to ask for some rough treatment every now and then (clawing, biting, hitting, etc) and, reasonably, Solid is always very hesitant to give it to him. Afraid to go too far.
Solid does not like being restrained... so he asks if Plissken is okay with it. Which he is.
