But in a way she couldnāt even believe her own words. Were there things about him that she wishes were different? Of course. There were things he did that she wishes he didnāt....but at this point he knew now. H knew all about just how much pain heād put her in without meaning too. All the times she doubted and worried because he just didnāt know when enough was enough.
Sheās breathing deeply into her hands now. Her voice is pretty much gone at this point.Ā
āI donāt hate you. I never hated you. Youāre difficult to work with yes but Iāve always tried my best to work with you, havenāt I? Not like it matters I guess....ā
And then he says those words. Words that she couldnāt possibly know what they meant, but in her gut she knew. She could only hope she was wrong....but hope wasnāt going to change anything. She knew, deep down, but she wanted him to say it in a way sheād understand.
ā......Tell me. Look me in the eyes and tell me what you said.ā Sheās trying to hold back the tears, but itās not working out in her favor.
