Solar Textile Survival Pod is portable retractable tent covered with solar textile. The structure is made out of the collapsible carbon-fiber tubes (resembling diagonally woven basket) which are able to collabse into a round tube (in principle of a Japanese wooden umbrella). At the bottom of the base disk (once opened), there are tripod type collapsible stiffeners which allow to install the tent on various uneven geographical surfaces. At the apex of the tent, there is a transparent sphere which generates (because of the difference of inner/ outer temperatures) condensation water and acts as an autonomous water supply. The tent is lightweight, collapsible, portable structure which is designed for mass production and deployable in various extreme survival conditions. The pods dimensions are 2.4x2.4x2.4m when deployed.
