Sok River
Today, we went on a little kayaking excursion down the Sok River, which took us right by our cabin and then into Khao Sok National Park.
We stopped briefly to observe a family of monkeys by the water. I like it when they're on land and we're on a boat.
We also stopped at a swimming hole! The river was deep here and very refreshing. You're not supposed to use the rope swing because it could break or something. This rule was well-regarded.
You are also not allowed to take the kayaks down the river by yourself, but that's okay because our guide was a cool guy!
He gifted us a banana leaf hat.
Tomorrow there will be more kayaking, at a lake! It's supposed to be a particularly beautiful lake. Stay tuned for an update on the lake.
