💻 “Programs must be written for people to read, and only incidentally for machines to execute.” - By Harold Abelson. I always preach that code should be so readable that it could be compared to a child story. I say “child story” to emphasise the importance of keeping chunks of code as short and as sweet as possible. Another challenge I would give a dev team is to name variables and functions in such a way that adding comments could be considered overkill, as it would just be stating the obvious. This is a brilliant practice to adopt when coding, as the benefits for you and your teammates are many.
