I do sometimes. I’m following a couple of current fandoms, but only a few spark that desire to create in me. Well, create to the extent that I’ve created for Sherlock Holmes, for instance.
When Yuuri On Ice was airing, I fell in deep with that show. I now own it, and watch it when I’m sad. It’s time has come and gone, though, and I only see myself revisiting artwork for YOI if/when new content is released. Nothing will replace how that show made me feel about self doubt being your own worst enemy.
The Legend of Zelda is another of my long-time favorites. It’s always got something going on. (Breath of the Wild 2 ANYONE?!?! OMG!!) I’ve never made any fanart of Zelink, however. It feels...sacred? I guess? So I leave it be.
I’m also currently engaged with Miraculous Ladybug, which I have drawn fanart for. It’s precious! I’m pretty confident that I’ll be drawing Ladynoir again.
Good Omens is another feather in my cap and I’m in love with it. I speaks to me on a level I didn’t know I needed speaking to. And shows/books don’t often do that.
