#soft speaking

Does anyone else enjoy soft spoken ASMR? I'm looking for videos that have someone speaking softly but absolutely NOT whispering. Whispering makes me jump out of my skin.

A while back I was sitting next to someone that was speaking softly on the phone and I could hear what she was saying if I listened closely, but since I had no interest in her conversation all I heard was mumbled words and I swear to god I almost fell asleep at my desk.

I'd never experienced anything like that!!!

I kind of liken it to listening to a golf announcer on TV with the volume low. Just steady speaking in a relatively consistent tone.

Every video I've tried has made my skin crawl since it's usually scratching and whispering, so I thought I'd reach out to the ASMR side of Tumblr and see if anyone could help.

I just want to take care of you and let you simply 'be'. If you need to cry or scream or be quiet, if you need to speak the truth or let something out, you can, and you don't have to. There's no right or wrong way to do this, there's no failure, there's no need to be perfect. You can just take some time to rest your body, mind and soul in this quiet space that is just for you. I will hold this space for you, for as long as you need, as often as you need. You can come back to it at any time. You can take your time and exist in this state and space for as long as you need, gently coming back into the world whenever you're ready. The audio has a little silence at the end to give you space, and there's no 'ending' so your experience can persist longer than the audio does if you like.
