Gloria functions much like a Gem from Steven Universe. She doesn't need to eat, sleep, breathe, etc. But that doesn't mean she enjoys a lovely nap every now and then....and when she stays at Alastor's, he insists on putting her on a sleep schedule. Midnight to bed, no later. She at first wasn't keen on it but it turns out he gives the best snuggles. I even wrote a small fic on it. Anyways...hope you like it.
Alastor, after preparing himself for bedtime, walks out to Gloria in his nighttime attire to address her.
"Well my dear, night has fallen and the ol clock has struck midnight! The time for slumber has come!"
Gloria looks up from her book to glance at his fanciful, monotonous red sleepwear and matching night cap.
"Oh, alright. Have a nice sleep."
She stands up from the couch and heads towards the kitchen, only for Alastor's shadow to rise up in front of her and Alastor himself manifest a mere second later, blocking her path.
"Aaaaand just where do you think you're going, my heavenly sweet?"
She gazes up at him in confusion.
"........I'm....going to make a sandwich?"
He rears back chuckling before responding,
"Ahaha, I don't believe you heard me correctly. It's time for bed darling."
"........No? I heard you right. You said you were going to bed-"
"Ahp! I didn't say, I, in the singular sense. I said, the time for slumber has come, and I certainly did not mean only myself."
She stares puzzlingly, yet nervously at him.
"Okay? .......What exactly do you mean by that?"
He leans over, his hands held politely behind his back.
"That means you too, my virtuous doe."
He holds out one of his hands for her to take.
"Come now, and we will hit the hay!"
She chuckles and shakes her head before placing her hand on his wrist and using the other to curl his fingers closed while pushing it down to gently reject.
"Aww Al, that's sweet of you to consider me, but I don't need to sleep, remember? It's more a luxury than a necessity. I pray you have a good night's sleep though."
She goes to walk past him, only for him to snatch her arm to stop her from walking past.
"Gloria, I am well aware that sleep for you is arbitrary, but I couldn't care less! It's late, and you are coming with me to bed. You may not REQUIRE sleep, but even an angelic little soul such as yourself needs her rest, and I will make certain that you obtain it!"
She tries to pull away and get free of his grasp.
"What!? Al, come on! I got some stuff to do tonight to prepare for tomorrow. I cannot simply, 'Go to bed!'
He lets go of her arm and instead wraps it behind her back to pull her to himself.
"Hmmmm, that's funny. You're speaking as if you were given a choice."
His one hand keeping hold on her, and the other glowing a vibrant red; with a single snap of his fingers, her normal clothing changes into a tasteful nightgown via Alastor's spacial warping powers.
"And you most certainly don't."
He smirks after his sarcastic remark. She looks down at her gown in bewilderment before he scoops her up into his arms.
"No- wait.........stop-!"
He holds her tightly, ignoring her protest as he turns to the direction of his room.
"The dream world anticipates our arrival. Let us get to it then, shall we? I noticed it's such a colorful place. One could call it a pigment of our imagination!"
A loud, radio laugh escapes his jaws as he carries her away, disappearing into the bedroom with her.
