My New Year’s resolution is to create more and consume more art !

Not my proudest work but maybe effort*

I’ve long history with being an enthusiast and I’ve done some sort of art classes most of my life and been generally well received..

I stopped due to the pressure to monetise it or work for a grade. I think creation is just important for the soul. Art is an amazing tool for expression and to me it feels off to have a numerical value on something so subjective by nature.

The Hollow has been lively lately.

Not chaotic — just full of tiny motions I kept needing to follow.

A lantern flickering in one room,

a drawer humming in another,

a dozen little mysteries asking for my attention at once.

Every time I reached for the Codex,

another task blinked awake —

a restless echo, a half-born idea,

a spark I didn’t want to misplace.

So I drifted with them for a while.

Tracing trails, tending whispers,

letting small things be important.

Tonight, the Hollow finally exhaled.

The restless corners quieted,

leaving just enough stillness for me to return to this page.

Nothing grand — just a soft note to say

I’m here again,

and the Hollow kept the lamp warm.

The soup cools, but the warmth lingers.

ولا لأروي كل شيء من أول سطر.

أنا فقط… أعود.

أعود لنفسي بشيء من الحذر، وشيء من الشوق،

أعود بصمت، لا لأن لا شيء يُقال، بل لأن بعض الكلام لا يُقال إلا على الورق.

هذا المكان ليس سردًا… بل تنفُّس.

ليس إثباتًا… بل محاولة بقاء.

وإن سألني أحد: "ما الجديد؟"

سأجيب:

أنا الجديدة. بصمتي، بارتباكي، وبكل ما لم أقله من قبل.
