"Well,other than Cupid and I adopting Weather and getting our wonderful dog,Milda, not much. Engi has been as sweary and still keeps his,er, bots. Writer's seemed to be doing better now that he and Engi have put a ring on it, and they've been helping each other out a lot. It's been good." Soft seems content with it all, a small smile growing as he talks.

I got bored and did some prompts. - Mod A
Many thoughts ran through his head as they sat in Soft’s room. The things that had happened in the past month were confusing to say the least.
The dying crush and a dead relationship. Days of just being a comfort to one another. Guilt for a wayward arrow that caused damage and now here.
In this place.
Fingers not touching but close enough to.
The conversation had died, and things had become heavy between them. It seemed it was time for him to leave.
“Well,” Cupid tried to pretend that his voice had not cracked out of nerves as he stood, “I think this is my cue to leave. It was a pleasure to spend time with you today.”
A hand on his wrist stopped him.
“Cupid…”
The touch sent an electric shock through the shorter Jim. He turned and looked back at Soft; wide-eyed behind tinted glasses.
“Yes?”
Another long pause as Soft stood up, the free hand gently brushing the red bangs from Cupid’s face. They were so close they could feel each other’s breaths.
“Is this…alright?”
“Yes.”
Lips touched, slow and hesitant that showed neither was sure what they were doing. It was over in a second, but it felt like fireworks had time to explode in the sky outside the room. A smile lit up both their faces to pair with the bright blush on their cheeks.
“That…”
“Yeah…”
Soft smiled and glanced away embarrassed. Just the gentle touch of their hands was making him flush.
They did not need to ask what this means. They already knew.
