hey i just wanted to let you know that they way you do image descriptions is not accessible. as a full time screen reader user who needs image descriptions, just putting "[flag name]" as a description is just a misuse of accessibility features. the point of an image description is to describe the image for those who cant see it. there are blogs and resources dedicated to helping with image descriptions, so please use those instead of misusing features meant for accessibility. at least tag your posts with "#no id" or similar tags so people like me, who need image descriptions, can filter out posts without them.

I will say that I have no prior experience with image ids? ive been trying to do alt text as well, but I kind of assumed I'm not exactly using the 'id terminology' correctly?
No one we've ever followed has used image descriptions so Im generally at a loos. I am trying to improve, though. I'll go through and update my wording and add more alt text in the future when im more in the front and not projecting my thoughts through the fronter's hands.....
