Wanda is delighted to announce the forthcoming Epiphany  Now debut album release show at West Germany.           Wanda – a new literary and musical cooperative – took flight with the release of the mixtape/ refracted ode to Barbara Loden's 1971 film 'Wanda', in collaboration with Ono records in Manchester last July. The tape opened with the mesmerising imaginary soundtrack by Epiphany Now.  On the basis of this, Epiphany Now continue their spellbinding cinematic journeys through their debut release of the first of three freewheeling, improvised,            trance-inducing live improvisations.

We are very excited for our first real release party in ages, presenting Halfsilks' debut tape "Cupid Operations" released by Kitchen Leg records. 

HALFSILKS is the result of bassist/ vocalist Karen (of Gym Tonic, The Anna Thompsons, Canyon Spree) and drummer/ vocalist Jana (of Point No Point, Soft Grid, Dropout Patrol) dragging their mutual friend and synth player Marcia into the rehearsal room to find out what their shared musical influences from 60s girl groups to post-punk could convey. Initially more of a loose project, Halfsilks quickly became an actual band as the members’ professional and musical lives came to a halt over the last months. Instead they turned to writing synth-driven, angular pop songs about horses, outdated technologies and female role-models. Their first show at ausland - and only second show ever - is to celebrate the release of their debut Cupid Operations, out via Kitchen Leg Records.

Joining them is another Kitchen Leg act: PIEUVRE is a new sensation, born magically by coincidences and featuring members of Brabrabra, the Shna, and King Kuiper. This will be their live debut and not to be missed!
