Wickedly soft Wednesdays âą- Imagine a highschool AU where you and Tom just hated each other by association (friend groups were rivals or something) but then you get stuck in the same room as him and end up spending the entire day there. As time passes by you two decide to stop ignoring each other and actually start talking and you realize that you both have a lot in common and then- wow I love this so much!! (Bri if you could just give this a start, I might be able to continue it!)
this is a big moOD (iâm gonna start it and leave it kinda opened ended for you and others to finish!) tagging: @lovelyspidey @thelazypangolin

âThere they are again,â your friend Alex groans whilst motioning to the table behind you. Looking back, you spot Tom and his friends pulling a prank on some younger kids behind you.
You turn back around and scoff in disgust, âugh I canât stand them. You think theyâd be more mature considering that weâre almost 18.â
âThat group growing up? Oh honey you have a better chance at hitting the lottery,â Marie, your other friend, adds.
âThose four have been pulling the same shit since we were 12, itâs unlikely theyâll be changing anytime soon,â Alex notes.
âWhat about Tom though? He seems like he has some potential.â You turn back and make eye contact with the brown haired beauty.
It wasnât unusual for the two of you to be caught staring at each other, you did it more often than you cared to admit. You always saw a kindness in him that you didnât see in the others, like he was the only one capable of change.
You desperately wanted to get to know him more, but you knew you couldnât. I mean, what would your friends think? Your two groups were rivals, the greasers and the socs; youâve been at war since you were 8. There was no chance in hell your friends would allow you to get to know him. So those stolen glances stayed at just that, and nothing more.
He gives you a quick smile before he continues to try and convince a kid of giving him his sweatshirt. You sigh and turn your attention back towards your friends, thinking about when you next stolen glance would be.
