on my knees crying and begging for the Danger Days fandom to care about the canon women characters………. the girl & her mom, the director, red & blue, the Phoenix Witch, Kara 100%, Sophia & Maria…………….. the women where are the women. Make more woman Killjoys OCs… please I beg you. no amount of saying “he’s like a woman to me” about Real Life Cis Man Frank Iero will fix this btw you need to care about the women in the story. headcanons are great but they’re not representation. There’s nine awesome ladies in these stories I want to see more about them please please!!!!!!!!!!!

one thing about Gerard Way. they love to include twins in their narratives. Fear & Regret in TBP. Vaya & Vamos in Danger Days, and Sofia & Maria in National Anthem. The DRAAG guards/soldiers in LLTBP. probably some stuff in their other comics idk. With how often the theme of The Duality Of The Self appears in their works its not surprising bc twins are like The most “the same but separate” thing ever. ur talking about inner conflict & suppressing parts of urself & not feeling whole. there’s gonna b 2 identical ppl in the stories. Maybe something to be said about the sibling bond between them & Mikey bc even tho they obviously aren’t twins they’re incredibly close to each other.

people who imply that Red & Blue being gfs in Cali but cousins in NatAn is some kind of covert incest: Jamie is Mike’s son, and they’re clearly based on Ghoul and Party respectively, so if you run on that logic, shipping FunPoison is incest too. But being an alternate universe does Not mean all the same characters fit into the same dynamics (and they’re not even the same characters anymore either!) so everyone just shut up about it being problematic for the Codes to be related.
