Tamagotchi x Kutsushitaya Sock Shop
Bandai Japan has partnered up with Kutsushitaya, a Japanese sock company to deliver a special collaboration available at sock shops within Kutsushitaya stores in Japan and the Tabio official online store. Tabio is the corporation that operates Kutsushitaya stores. The collection includes 5 items.
First are Tamagotchi Back Tag Character Embroidery Socks which are ribbed socks for ¥1,980 available in yellow, blue, and white.
Second are American Rib Tamagotchi Embroidered Socks which are more casual, orange, white, or pink, featuring a Tamagotchi Original embroidered into them on the side for ¥1,760.
Third are Tamagotchi Print Socks which are black socks that feature the Tamagotchi UFO on the side for ¥1,760. The UFO is modified to read “Tabiotchi”, after the brand on one side and Tamagotchi on the other side.
Fourth are Tamagotchi Big Dot Total Pattern Socks which are white, or black socks covered in Tamagotchi pixels graphics. These are really cute, and priced at ¥1,650.
Fifth are Tamagotchi American Line Logo Embroidery Socks which are more casual, featuring two back stripes at the top, the sock being beige or white, and the Tamagotchi logo along with Babytchi by the toes! Priced at ¥1,760.
There will also be a sixth item, although not socks. This is a collaboration acrylic keychain which features the Tamagotchi UFO reading “Tabiotchi” and a black sock with Tamagotchi pixel graphics. This item is not available for purchase, but will actually be included with your purchased of ¥2,750 of more! This is subject to availability and once they’re sold out, they’re gone!
The official release is set for Friday, April 11th, 2025 in Kutsushitaya sock shops nationwide in Japan, and online at the official Tabio store starting on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. You can find a list of stores carrying them, along with more information here.
