Have you ever thought about it? How one animal in need, in suffering, calls out for your compassion? Most of the people go out of their own way to help an animal. However, most of them, also support a system which kills billions of them, calling it tradition, business, culture. Why do empathize so easily with one individual but reveal apathy for a group? Why do we accept such a thing? Why aren't we looking at the bigger picture here? Expand your circle of compassion. Love freely. Love all. Open your eyes in order to open your heart.
