This picture sums up one important lesson I want my boys to learn: You don’t need social acceptance. Who you are and what you believe is okay. It’s okay if your family disagrees with you, we still love you at the end of the day. It’s okay if your friends disagree with you, you will either grow together or you will find new friends. It’s okay if you go against the grain, because those are the types of people who facilitate change. Here's my question, why do we want to be accepted? What is it in today's society that makes everyone change who they are  be it on social media or in person to be accepted by the "cool crowd." Everyone is so afraid nowadays to be themselves on the point that they're scared that they are gonna be made fun of or that people wont understand them. Here's what I have to say to that....FUCK THAT! If you cant be yourself then how the hell are you supposed to live?! If you're to damn afraid to show what you love to the world then how the fuck are you supposed to show people the real you? Not everyone is going to like you, get used to that now. There is no way in hell to please everyone, so why bother?? Those few people who accept you for who you are are worth millions. Those 20-30 "cool friends" that you have that will call you friend then just as quickly talk shit behind your back. Kick those suckers to the curb.
