Here's the thing though, no matter the feelings on sex in YA ACoTaR has other adult content like torture and rape and murder basically constantly so I personally don't think it should be marketed to YA in the first place? Plenty of good books are adult books. I read adult books in middle school, but I also had a lot of adults around that I trusted to go to with questions or comments or concerns, even if the concern was 'do bodies really work this way?'. It's not an insult to say that they shouldn't be YA. I don't know why the entire fandom is yelling bloody murder when the concern is being raised about adult content.
