Collect Me With Your Steady Hand. My very first Tarlos fic! Written before 1x05 aired and based on the infamous promo still for the dinner scene that we never got to see! I actually really love that this is my most popular, even though Iāve learned so much more about the characters since writing it. I think it holds up though, and it features the softness and intimacy that I live by š¤·š»āāļø

The Most Powerful Thing. So, while this isnāt at the bottom of the list for hits/kudos, it is the least popular of my Carlos Week fics, and that has always stuck with me when I think about fics that I wish got more love. Three snapshots of Carlos Reyes coming to terms with the power of love throughout his life - how it builds him, how it burns him, and how it finally gives him everything he could possibly want and more. Really, truly proud of this one.Ā
Siempre me he soƱado una vida contigo. This one is pretty low and I have to wonder if itās because the title is in Spanish? No idea, but the song that the title is from is great. Itās a Tarlos Wedding fic, complete with romantic vows, if thatās your sort of thing. I have no idea what the wedding is going to look like in canon, but Iām gonna cry about it anyway. (Also, like many of my fics, this was written before we met Gabriel and Andrea, so Carlos has lost his dad and was raised by a single mother. I promise I love Gabriel Reyes, though, and I donāt want anything to happen to him now that Iāve got him!)
