It's not my fault, I'm like a moth (except I am not EVIL) and this fae obsession is very new and raw and it is all consuming and I... it has been a few hours and I have a very very rough draft but I just know it's gonna turn into a series and a lot more fey whump in the future and I just want to say-

IT IS NOT MY FAULT, BLAME THE ANON, ALRIGHT?!

Any of ya’ll whumpers watch The Night Shift.  I started watching it because I am night shifter (I work at a very busy veterinary emergency and critical care center as an ICU vet nurse). I felt very attached from the get-go because I GET IT. A lot of the same drama that human medical professionals feel, I also feel in the veterinary medicine field (my favorite was the “why does everything break on overnights”). ANYWAY - I WAS NOT EXPECTING THE WHUMP. Honestly, watched it for legitimate not whump reasons and then out of NO WHERE, main characters suffering PTSD, getting shot, getting into fights, suffering flashbacks and dealing with emotional trauma. MY HEART.  Anyway - I binged the first season in a single night and I’m on season two.
