Writing can be a long process, and it can be frustrating when you’re just…stuck. When you’ve hit a block, it might be a sign to step back and take a break (note that this doesn’t mean “take a break forever”). Take a walk, eat some cake, play more LongStory (you know, for inspiration)… Remember you’re supposed to be having fun and that you are writing first and foremost for yourself. Don’t try to force yourself to regurgitate words. 

In my personal experience, I spend the same amount of time if not more going back and fixing what I’ve forced myself to write. I find it more productive to go back and edit what I’ve already written when I’m going through a writer’s block, or looking over my timeline and making sure everything makes sense and has remained consistent throughout.
