Iâm finally back from the unknown. I had a few hours of sleep, Iâm in my office space, and Iâm remembering the past few daysâŚ
Months from now - no, years - weâll look back to all that weâve done together and there will be nothing but smiles and endless laughter.
The thing is, the trip was amazing in so many ways. But itâs the people that made it unforgettable. Itâs my friends.
Thank you for coming on this trip with me and for being so eternally gracious with your time, resources, patience, and most of all - your friendship. I can say this about the three of you, @snowycrocusâ @vannminnerâ @blunaowlâ because all youâve exuded was unyielding optimism throughout this whole journey.
We make fun out of everything. Thank you for weathering the cold weather with me, navigating the streets of London and Hogwarts while I walk super slow (LOL sorry mates), and for despising DLP yet still making it so fun - and for convincing me to get on rides even though Iâm a coward. But with you three, I can do anything. Iâm still eternally pissed about Tower of Terror being closed⌠it was probably the âscariestâ ride Iâve been on, but Iâd gladly do it with you with me.â
The whole trip was a ride. But hey, letâs ride some more.
Paris was overwhelming yet exquisite. London was a mixture of NYC and home.Â
Megs - youâre my light. My ride or die, my soul sister, my enabler and the Dumb to my Dumber xD (instant karma - see, if I trip, youâll always follow after because we are each othersâ echoes LOL). You never fail to cease me with your childlike wonder, your wit, your willingness to just say âfuck it, letâs do thisâ without questioning and for simply trusting the journey because you believe in me in spite of my poor planning skills. You believe in the people youâre with and you never ever ever ever make anyone feel left out or less than. Bronsky - From pizza, artisan ice cream, anchovies (LOL), Horchata, paellas, chocotacos - and now Parisian food?! I was a terrible roommate but thank you for riding it out the past few nights and for still waking up with a smile on your face even though I literally did not let you sleep. đ. Thank you for joining us, for guiding us and bringing us to the best places in Paris, for finding us a lovely home, and for being a loyal friend throughout the years. Youâve always been there for me, and Iâm so grateful and honored to be called your friend.
