Alex: My parents are supremely fucked up. Audrey: Six years in this job, nobody ever asks about my parents. My father was a violent alcoholic... Alex: Melanie says she was never in a relationship with Nima. Then I find out, surprise! That's bullshit, they were practically married. Audrey: My mother would make excuses for him, and I hated her for it. Alex: So I go back to Melanie, and I call her out. I say, if you want to keep your shit private, that's fine, but don't lie to my face and call it honesty. And instead of admitting she fucked up and APOLOGIZING, like a normal human, she doubles down! Audrey: What I didn't realize was my mother didn't know any better. She thought that was love. Alex: Melanie says, and I quote, Yes, we wore each other's clothes, but it wasn't a RELATIONSHIP. We just LOOK GOOD in each other's clothes. Audrey: Alex. Alex: As if anyone could look good in those cardigans. Audrey: Alex, have you heard a word I said? Alex: Yes. Kind of. I'm sorry. I'm just so mad. It's like, all I'm asking for is a little slice, a little crumb of truth about who my parents are, so maybe I can figure out who I am. And they can't even give me that. Audrey: I don't know. Sounds like you learned alot. Alex: Yeah. How not to be. Audrey: On that note, how are things with Carley? Alex: Oh. Pretty good. We're going to be roommates soon. Audrey: Oh, you're moving in together! Alex: Yeah. Well, it just makes sense, given how close the engine is to her studio. And this way, we won't have the problem of me leaving my stuff at her place, and her leaving her stuff at my place... Audrey: That happens alot? Alex: Mostly clothes, if one of us spends the night. Although, it's kind of funny, we're the same size, so one day, like, as a joke, I wore her clothes, and then, as a joke, she wore my clothes, but the crazy part was, we both looked good. Like, actually really good. So, in the new place, we're gonna have one closet to save on space. Audrey: That's great, Alex. I'm really happy that your relationship is going well. Alex: My what now?

Summary : Being a homeless omega was extremely dangerous, which was why you had chosen to take shelter in the nearby woods instead of out in any of the towns. You happen upon the home of not one, not two, but three alpha brothers. Each day will be more dangerous than the last.
At first you were only squirming and mumbling in your sleep. Your core quacked and seized as you tried to comfort yourself in the little nest of blankets you and your Alpha made on the bed. But, as unseen forces battled beyond the four walls that sheltered you, an unnatural prick of cold fell over you.
It was like little ice needles stabbing your once overheated skin. The heat that once consumed you had now pooled in your abdomen, wracking and shaking your body with an unholy pang of pain.
The only relief to cling to was the thick scent still on the T-shirt your Alpha had put on you. The only piece of clothing you kept on.
It was like liquid nitrogen being injected into your veins, making your skin burn as it propelled you out of bed. Your legs wobbled under your weight as you shambled towards the closed door and grappled at the worn brass knob. Your nails dig into the frame as you push the door open, and the cold sensation of your feet leaving the carpet and meeting the glossy wood of the hall sends shockwaves of ice through your heels. It was like the cold floor was electric, turning you into a live wire with no outlet.
You had to hold onto the wall as you shuffled through the cabin. Only going as fast as your feet could take you.
Something was wrong, something was so very wrong. Like a string being plucked, your alpha ’s pain reverberated through your body. You could barely stay upright from the little waves of agony that started to throb all over your body, as if an invisible force was twisting your organs as it pleased.
“A..Alpha?!” Where was he? It felt like only a minute ago that his scent was all around you, but now he’s nowhere to be found.
“Alpha!” Your voice is so weak as you try to scream for him, it comes out all rusted and meek.
Through your foggy hearing there’s a tell tale click of the front door opening and then being closed again.
The sounds of heavy footsteps on old wood were barely audible, but it was your only lifeline, and you followed directly to its source.
The footsteps grow faster and less soft when their owner becomes aware of your presence.
As soon as they’re close, you catch his scent. It’s familiar, but off. Yet, it was the only comfort to reach out to, and it was all you needed to throw yourself into his arms and start crying out to him.
“Alpha! Don’t leave me like that again, please” you press your face hard into his shoulder as you claw at his dress shirt.
The alphas tight embrace was able to dull the throb of pain. Only a little, and yet not nearly enough.
“Let’s get you back to bed, Omega.” A small part of you twitched when the word left his mouth, and something within his Alpha heart did as well.
He hadn’t meant to say it, but the feeling of a sweet soft omega sinking right into his arms almost made him melt. He held onto you tight as he redelivered you to the master bedroom.
He started pushing you towards the bed, but you twisted in his grip as your knees hit the mattress. You crawled into the nest of pillows, resting your head on one and your stomach on the other. Your little hands dug into the blanket and your back arched as you raised your hips, presenting yourself to the alpha.
Your body shook as your slick heavy folds brought an unwanted chill to your core, triggering another cramp along your inner walls as they throbbed around nothing. Your eyes stung as fresh tears bubbled up to the surface, and you whined for him to end the pain and fill you with his knot.
“Alpha, please!”
Andy was mortified as he watched you bend for him.
You were delirious as your heat-riddled brain mistook him for Curtis, leaving him to watch you beg for relief.
The whole time he was pulling you back to bed you were pawing at his shirt as if to crawl underneath it and rub yourself against his bare skin. But, he wasn’t Curtis; he wasn’t your mate.
He had to force you onto your back as he tried to cover you with the blanket. You didn’t fight him from moving you, but you clung to him and clawed at his clothes as you whined for him to touch you. He had to fight your hands off of him each time they tried to yank his shirt from his pants and snake their way under it.
The constant thrash of hands was all too much as heat began to build at the back of Andy’s neck and under his collared shirt. Every time your skin found its way to meet his, it was like being touched with fire that sank down into his belly. The effect you had was incredible, but he had to break free from it.
Your scent was still strong, but it was muddied by that of his brother's. It wasn't much, but it was enough to help him navigate the situation better, and yet it made the heat rise in his throat instead of pooling in his cock like the hormones like it used to.
“Stop it!” His voice just exploded from his chest. Your muddy omega brain listened instinctively, causing your body to fall back onto the bed. You laid stalk still with your eyes shut tight as he covered you with the blanket.
He feverishly tucked you in like a mental patient being strapped into bed before quickly leaving the room and shutting the door behind him.
Andy’s mind swam as he leaned back on the door, letting the cool wood melt some of the hot emotions that had started to bubble up. There wasn’t any room to process any of this. Not after having to grapple with a stranger, not after walking into this mess of a house.
As expected, there were a few broken items here and some toppled furniture there. Nothing too extensive, but a mess all the same.
Andy would have never imagined Curtis would take another mate after his last one passed. He could still remember the way his brother seemed to curl in on himself as he mourned her. Not picking up calls, cutting work hours, and hiding away in his now empty home.
Andy had been there to help when Curtis needed to sell the house, as it was the home they were supposed to build together. It had been the first time he’d seen his brother really break down and cry.
If by some miracle he had finally moved on enough for this it still wasn’t like him to not have told either of them about a new mate. Especially if he’d planned on bringing her to the cabin where they were all meeting.
There was another thing that bothered Andy and it was his brother’s behavior. Curtis had never acted like this before. He was being so aggressive and territorial. Plus, it seemed insane for him to have brought an omega in heat with him to see his family.
None of this got any clearer after entering the den. Andy had to lock that bedroom door for what felt like more for his safety than yours. He wouldn’t be able to get any information from you while you were in this state. He didn’t want to think about what might be causing it, only caring about how to take the frustration away. He didn’t remember heats being this bad; then again he couldn’t remember the last one he’d been around for.
He didn’t want to think about what might be causing it, only caring about how to take the frustration away. He didn’t remember heats being this bad; then again he couldn’t remember the last one he’d been around for.
That atmosphere between him and his wife had long since turned bitter. If her attitude wasn’t already to blame, her scent was often sour to him even without her suppressants. A distaste that had fermented over the course of their marriage only to show its true downfall when he’d follow her to ‘work’ only to find she had taken the day off to spend it at another alphas home.
He couldn’t even remember feeling anything when he found out, just a numbness with a hidden sense of relief. Many of his emotions died with his relationship; even after the funeral there wasn’t much pain to be felt. Everything that would normally destroy someone’s resolve he’d seen coming from a great distance a long time ago.
Everything had felt so gray for so long that he never thought like he’d be feeling so many red hot emotions at once ever again. It seemed like your very being pulled something out of him that he no longer thought he had, and it scared him. The further he could get from you, the easier things will be, but he only got as far as the sofa in the den as he let his body fall into the dusty cushions.
He let his eyes wander over the state of the den, and all the crap that was thrown around. He taps one of the bags with his foot. An old blue backpack with a few dangly keychains, but the seams were worn at the zipper and one of the straps was held on by a band of zebra print duct-tape. Not an ideal travel bag to take on a weekend trip. Andy looked up at the rest of the bags. All of them were worn out long past their usefulness, and one was just a black garbage bag with broken ties.
This would be the first bag he’d pick up to examine better. Undoing the tight knot at the top, he found it was filled with the pieces of a deconstructed tent. Andy thought to himself as to who would bring camping equipment out to a cabin, let alone in the thick snow.
After setting the trash bag on the couch, he picked up the backpack next. He had to jiggle the sticky zipper to get it open, but when he finally got it unzipped he found crumpled clothes, underwear, an empty packet of suppressants, and a wallet.
'If she was purposefully on suppressants, then why is her heat so strong?' Andy thought as he rifled through the rest of your belongings.
The wallet had your old driver's license, long since expired, but it still had your name and old address.
If he had any service, he could look you up and find more needed information. The brothers had known the drive over here like the back of their hands, and never minded the bad reception, but now the lack of access was proving to be inconvenient.
If he really wanted to, he could try to get ahold of his brother by the old number punch phone still mounted to the kitchen wall, but he figured that they still wouldn’t be in cell range for a while. So, for now he tucked your license back into the little wallet and continued digging past the wad of clothes. At the bottom there was a plastic folder, a little cracked under the pressure of all the other cargo, containing various papers.
In the mix were some very important documents, the kind that shouldn’t be kept in a backpack. He thumbed past a birth certificate, a wrinkled highschool diploma, and a year or two of old tax records.
You seemed to have packed less like a travel companion and more like a drifter, and it’s quite possible you were.
Did Curtis pick you up on the side of the road and bring you here? Did your suppressants run out and your body just reacted to him? Like it was reacting to Andy’s.
You and Curtis were definitely mated; there wasn’t any doubt about that. But, were you a willing participant, or a poor omega caught in a dangerous storm of hormones.
'Were you scared then? Are you still scared now?' Yes, only this time you were alone and afraid without your alpha by your side.
He can hear and somehow feel the fear buzzing inside of you, like it vibrated off of your body and outward through the air.
For now, he just tries to ignore it. Tuning you out and possibly shutting off his senses all together is the best option moving forward. Your scent was thick throughout the whole house and it made his skin feel itchy as the collar of his shirt constricted around his neck.
He pressed himself off of the couch only to pace the floor around your junk. He watched his feet dodge the small bags and clothes he’d since tossed around.
He finally decides on getting a nice cool glass of water to quell the fire building in his belly. Yet, as he leaves the den a toe catches against the foot of the couch. It stings as he hops back and he angrily just kicks the furniture out of his way. He doesn’t bother to step over anything anymore as he just trudges through your clothes to the kitchen and grabs a glass from the cupboard.
He twists the handle at the right of the faucet, holds the glass under the healthy stream, and watches as it fills well over half full.
His hand shakes, it’s barely noticeable, but he can feel it as he brings the glass to his lips and begins gulping all the water down until the cup is once again empty.
He didn’t turn the faucet back to cut the stream of water, so he just dipped the cup back under for more. It seemed to be working, but every time he’d take that big gulp and empty the glass, that heat simmering inside would boil back over. It never seemed like enough to make it go away.
The next time he finishes the water, he doesn’t refill the cup. He just held it in one hand as the other picked at his suffocating clothes. It left him fidgeting in place as he lightly pulled at the seams of his shirt. A loose string was pissing him off in particular. Picking turned to pulling, which became tearing, and soon the button at the cuff of his sleeve popped off as he yanked at it. The effort was futile and only successful in ruining a shirt.
Hot air leaves his lips in a huff before he goes back for more water. Another glass should do something; anything would be better than how he’d felt now. He drinks it even faster than he had before, practically draining the glass in under a minute. He can’t seem to get enough of it, like his body needs fluids more than it needs air.
Yet, the sounds of the cabin still haunt him. That soft but painful shake of your deep breaths, and the sharp sound of each whine as it left your chest. Every sound, no matter how soft, no matter how labored, still traveled through the house all the way to ring in his ears.
Internally his heart sinks and the need to be the warmth you should curl into is intense. He needed to drown you out before something inside of him broke much like it had to have done in Curtis.
He leaned over the sink, trying to listen to the running water over everything else. His knuckles turned pale as his hand tightened around his cup. It only constricted more and more as he grit his teeth.
The glass starts to make a slight cracking noise. Each fracture clicks into place as gingerly, one after the other. At first it’s just something small, sitting at the surface of the glass and digging into his fingers.
The heat was rising in his throat again. No amount of water would cool him as it felt like it would erupt from his chest. A deep, muffled wail that escaped the bedroom would be the push over the edge that Andy feared. You must have pushed your own face into the pillow to silence the noise, and it didn’t work.
The weight of his fingers digging into the sides of the cup finally makes it give way. The glass shattered into a handful of pieces before hitting the floor and breaking into more. The sound it made as it first cracked apart in his hand was enough to drown you out, only to mirror the crack of the car window as it smacked into his brother's face.
It echoed in his head as it throbbed with a blooming migraine. The previous encounter played against the back of his eyelids as he tried to shut them.
Andy had ripped the door open in the next second after he slammed it in his brother’s face. He hadn’t meant to close it so hard, and when he found his brother dazed with a little spatter of blood on one side of his forehead, Andy’s heart sank.
Curtis didn’t stop swaying him when Andy cradled his woozy head in his hands as he tried to check his eyes.
“Oh my god” Jake nearly started to tear up as he slowly ran his hand over his own face. He then approached the swaying Curtis hoping to help Andy seat him in the car instead of the half-on, half-off stance Curtis had been holding.
“What the fuck was that” Curtis growled out at the two other men.
“At least he’s talking again” Jake shouted, and Andy turned back to shoot him a glare. It looked twice as menacing on his pale face.
Curtis grit his teeth, held his hand to the side of his head, and cursed as Andy sat him down. Andy had to dig into his pants pocket to grab the car keys before tossing them to Jake.
“Take him to the hospital”.
“Hospital? What hospital?!” Jake hadn’t seen a single hospital let alone a fucking clinic, the whole way here, and the cabin didn’t have the best signal range.
“Any hospital! The nearest hospital!” Andy started to shout, causing Curtis to moan angrily. “Don’t fucking yell at him.” At least the knock to the head seemed to shake things loose.
“Just get in the car and drive to the nearest hospital, ok!”
“And where the hell are you gonna go?”
“Someone has to stay behind and sort things out. Now Go!” He gestured to the house as he buckled his bleeding brother into the backseat.
There was still a recently mated omega in the house. Probably scared of all the commotion that had gone on outside. Now her Alpha sat slumped in the back of a Toyota with a possible concussion.
Jake did as he was told. He hopped into the driver's seat and peeled out as carefully as possible. He had been in high risk situations before in his line of work. He’d tested the limits of his strength and nearly lost his life countless times.
Yet, this was different; this was personal; this was his brother. The man who he looked up to even as a child. The man who lost his ever-loving mind and nearly tore him and Andy into pieces.
Jake watched from the rearview mirror as a small bead of drool dripped from Curtis’s open mouth before wincing and pressed his dirty palm to his head. It was enough to make tears swell in the younger man’s eyes.
“We’re gonna get you a better buddy, don’t worry.”
Andy recalled waiting as he watched the little car pull away before reapproaching the cabin.
He tried in vain to make the image of his brother’s face go away. Yet, when he shut his eyes again, his brief view of you rolling over on the bed, bowing your back and presenting to him was the only thing that could drown the other memory out. It made his skin feel hot, like little embers were crawling all over his body.
He doesn’t pay any mind to the bleeding gash he now had running along the palm of his hand. Instead, he claws at his dress shirt, needing to remove his hindrance to the cool air of the cabin. He leaves smears of blood all over the fine cotton material as he rips off its buttons. He stumbled back towards the den, completely abandoning the crushed remains of the glass cup on the linoleum floor as his shoes met the old carpet once again.
His mind still wins over his instincts when instead of turning left towards your silent whimpering he takes an immediate right out the front door, pulling and tearing his dress shirt as he runs into the snow.
He throws his body towards the soft piles of icy fluff, needing desperately to douse the heat bubbling up in his body.
His bare chest melts the snow beneath him and it leaches into his pants. But, he pays no mind to the damp and chilly, focusing only on the solid cold to keep him grounded.
He felt like an animal trying not to lash out at easy prey. It was unsettling how your scent and the brief sight of your body was distorting his mind. Making all other thoughts blurred.
A few sparks of old memories swam past his tightly shut eyelids. Many of the disappointing ruts he endured with his ex-wife, a few of your scent that seemed to have lingered on his skin.
He remembered how it used to be when he was still married. His body would buzz to life only to grow cold just as quickly when his scent had to mingle with hers. But when it mixed with yours it made bright lights try to form behind his eyes, so that his rut could just propel him towards you. It was like feeling a real soul trying to pull at his for the first time in his life, and it was crying out to him.
He buried his face further into the snow and let out a labored scream as his inner alpha roared at the cries of the omega still in the house. Your pain is twisting his guts and making an unknown sense of rage bubble under his skin and melt everything around him.
He’s angry, and it’s getting worse as he sucks in each icy breath. He’s angry at his brother in a way he knows is misplaced, angry at his old mate and the distasteful way they had to break their bond; but the one he’s angry at the most was himself. But most of all he was angry at himself.
He just wanted to let the freezing snow prick at his skin to make all the heat and anger melt away, but something further inside of him was getting closer to breaking its way out of him.
Every ounce of his being wants to make your pain go away. He wants to push the thoughts away but only manages to push himself out of the snow, again, ignoring the sting of the cold snow on the wound on his hand. He stood up from the mound of snow and ice, some still sticking to his beard.
He walks, or more so trudges back into the house, door still open, and walks all the way to the master bedroom. He breached the threshold of it to find you on the floor beside the bed this time. You had been ordered to stay in bed, but you had at one point rolled out, only to claw along the carpet, crying into the sheets and pillows you took with you.
He watches as you bring your hands to your face . An unfamiliar tang in a familiar scent makes your nose sting. He grabbed the soft blanket from the bed and threw it over your sweaty panting body. He followed the flutter of fabric to just lay beside you, but he let you cuddle into him for your needed comfort.
His breathing is heavy but slow. He lets himself lean in and cuddle back as you two curl into him, muttering “alpha”.
It’s a tight writhing embrace; your hands are roaming over him until your nimble fingers meet his belt and uncuffs it with ease. Your omega knew what she wanted, and he let you take it as he let you steal the chill from his skin.
Your lips are next when they collide with his neck, peppering down to the soft hair along his chest. His pants are the next that your hands pull away from him along with his boxers. As the hem meets his knees, you're pulling him over top of you as you roll onto your belly with a breathy “please.”
“Alpha is here for you, baby” it wasn’t him speaking anymore but a voice from within finally breaking out. He wanted to be close to you, nurture your bloomed Omega and bask in its sweet intoxicating pollen. He’s rubbing his face in it as runs it along the side of your neck. Your scent of lavender and orange stuck to his skin in a sheen of sweat.
It’s all for you; he wants to make you feel better on the most base level portion of his bodily instincts. He’d never felt so weak in his life until this moment; yet he wanted to comfort you with his strength.
His stemming erection presses into your spine as it finds its way between your legs. You’re slick, but he knew you had been that way for hours. Just warm and wanted as he begged for a knot. Once he’s inside, you melt to him, forming your walls around his cock like a tightly fitted sleeve
He looked down at where he connected himself to you. He was done fighting this need to ease the pain of your heat, letting himself get lost in the sight of your sweet omega flower blossoming around him.
He couldn’t control himself any longer, but he had some forethought to start slow. Drawing his length in and out. His cock glistening with your slickness and his senses assaulted by your beautiful smell. Every instinct that propelled him deeper inside of you wanted to make your body shake with pleasure.
You reacted well to him, as your walls squeezed and fluttered around his shaft. It made the breath stick in his chest, leaving him to cling for air as his skin turned red around his neck and cheeks.
Hands softly pressed into the mailable flesh of your hips as your nails raked through the sheet between you and the floor.
Your hips moved in unison with his. Each time he dragged himself away, you followed them with the desperate press of your ass to his pelvis.
Everything was too much and more than enough. In your mind the alpha was being much more attentive than before, more gentle, and caring. His hands had slipped up your body so his fingers could play with the soft pink skin of your pert nipples. He had you bending and bowing to his will as he pressed harder into your core, letting his cock head breach the opening of your deepest chamber.
It made you grit your teeth and your eyes finally opened to the room since the first time an alpha took you against the floor. The knots in your back crack as he pulls you up to stand on your knees, pulling his cock away just to push it further into your fluttering core.
His knot grows thicker as he begins to catch along your entrance, making you grind the back of your teeth as you stifle your desperate wails. You wanted that knot, needed the alpha seed to make your belly swell.
His nose is buried against your neck, drowning in the sweet smell of lavender dripping from the sweat of your skin. His tongue dips out to taste it, and he can’t stop himself when the worst happens. Before he could stop, his teeth were sinking into your soft flesh to match a similar bite left behind by his brother just an inch away.
Tears brim in your eyes; your teeth are bared, and you scream into the dim room as you come undone around him. All the while, his knot had popped into your tight channel and locked himself to you. Pumping you full, just as your baser instincts had begged him for.
When his jaw unclenched from around the nape of your neck, his tongue flicked back out to lap at the red sap that leaked from this new wound. Almost like he’s licking away every ounce of energy that kept you awake.
Your eyes will roll behind the lids and you'll black-out into his arms. Then he’ll hold you even after his knot deflates, pressing cool comfort into your skin.

Watching Snowpiercer such a strange and I have no words to describe this film but I am loving Chris as Curtis
