heyya i was wondering if you are selling those stickers? I would love one for my laptop when i'm back at uni :) if not all cool x
I will be, as soon as I get the other stuff I intend to sell all together (so things can be sold in bundles if people would like.) It'll be posted on here when that happens. If I can get enough committed demand (maybe via a small kickstarter?) I can make another large order of them and have them available constantly. But I'd like to see how this initial set works out first.
I don't know if you've thought about it but I was wondering what your opinion is on the dugongs kept at Sydney's Sealife Aquarium?
I honestly don’t know what Sydney aquarium is like, but I haven’t heard great stories :S

snowho reblogged your post and added:
Numbers 1,2,4 and 7. I don’t know what country...
1. Not sure which part is bothering you. How else are dairy cows in Australia inseminated? x
2. Here you can find information on just how soon you can wean calves to save costs. It also says that if you do it too early they will require extra attention - that is if you actually want them to survive. Not really a problem if your business is in dairy and the calves are not needed - in which case there is no point in wasting milk on them since they're going to become veal.
4. "Most farmers milk their cows twice a day, but in a robotic milking system cows sometimes choose to be milked four to five times a day." x
"Cows with a result of greater than 200,000 are highly likely to be infected on at least one quarter. [...] Milk with an SCC of more than 400,000 is deemed unfit for human consumption by the European Union." x
7. "Domestic cows can live to 20 years, however those raised for dairy rarely live that long, as the average cow is removed from the dairy herd around age four and marketed for beef.[9][11] x
I just wanted to ask about any sources you have for your recent post about milk and the dairy industry. As someone who studies agriculture I can't help but see some errors in said post.
Hey, would you mind pointing out the errors? I know I should have included the sources to begin with but I'm a little short on time and would appreciate only checking the necessary ones.
hey! i'm living in melbourne and was wondering if you'd been to the sea life aquarium? would you recommend it? thanks (:
Yes, I have been to the Melbourne Aquarium! I used to work for a tourism company that operated inside it.
There are a lot of positive and negative points about the aquarium.
Positive - they do a lot of research for Victorian sea life, they’ve rescued and released a lot of animals, and were the first in the world to ever breed Weedy Sea Dragons in captivity for wild release, which are a threatened species.
However, I still question a lot of their exhibits. Currently they are housing a 4ft? “Mega Croc”, and the exhibit is woefully small. On top of that, I don’t like the Penguin enclosure at all, I think it’s tiny. I also heard that all the penguins were inbred because it’s illegal to acquire them from the wild so captive populations are very small in terms of genetic variety. Also some other co-worker told me they had never seen the sun before, but I don’t know how accurate that is.
Anyway, if you want to visit it, it’s up to you. They don’t house any cetaceans or larger marine life, mostly fish and reptiles. The only problematic species I think shouldn’t be held captive is the Mega Croc, penguins and the sharks.
