Rice grain - memory word meme
Good memory - the first time he woke up at the Monastery after the Trial of the Red Blossoms, to see that his mother Ayami Snowdrift had made rice balls to celebrate his survival and achievement. The taste still clings to his tongue whenever he gets particularly wistful.
Bad memory - the first time he made rice balls after his father passed away. They were oddly...flavorless, and that flavor clung to his throat for a long, long time. The fact that Tsing Snowdrift was no longer there didn't make him feel better, for that matter.

Apparently the spirit was as tuckered out as Snowdrift was after the snowball fight was over (one that had easily blocked traffic for a good fifteen minutes in Sector Five). No sooner had they gotten back to the apartment and Snowdrift thrown off his damp uniform than Jack began to yawn almost nonstop.
Snowdrift sat down and stretched his arms out, and the next thing he knew, Jack Frost promptly plunked his head on the Pandaren’s rather sizable stomach. “Ooof!” Snowdrift grunted. “My belly is not a pillow-” Jack had already started snoring.
