What I did the day after our road trip...

With the above average amount of snowfall we've had in MA this year, my Dad and I didn't even have to go to Maine to get in some great riding out around his house in Plymouth.

I got lucky. My boyfriend's best friend bought him a Groupon for a guided snowmobile tour for 2 up at Whistler, BC for Christmas and guess who benefited from this? ME! 

The 4 of us (myself, my bf Devin, his bff and his bff's gf) woke up bright and early to drive up to Whistler Village for a 9:30am tour. 2 per snowmobile and well I was too chicken to drive the thing so Devin drove the whole trip.

The scenery was amazing, though a little cloudy, you can see that it's just snow, after snow after snow. I have to say the ride was super bumpy and Devin wasn't even driving that fast. Maybe it's just the way the trails are put together? It was nice that we got a pit stop at a cabin for a quick warm up apple cider too! I'm not sure what it is, but this winter's obsession for me is definitely apple cider. 

It's always nice to just be able to get out of town for the day. As rushed as it was in the morning (and waking up early on a weekend do suck), it was fun, and definitely another thing checked off the bucket list.
