Jessica Nash started working at 9 years old as an actress on the SNNB* sitcom, Plainwood Heights. She won her first Academy Award at 18 years old for her work in the coming of age drama "Crumpled Sheets Of Paper." “In Retrospect” is her 9th studio album and has been described by critics as an "interesting exploration" on “public memory.” One critic calls it a “rich deep dive into entertainment as existence, the effect of fame on a childs psyche and the impact of recollection on a Sims inner and outer life.” It samples songs, clips of dialogue from her past work, and even news broadcasts from her various scandals. It was recorded with a full orchestra and produced by Logan Saint. The album is mostly comprised of ballads and interludes, some of which are also featured on the (similarly titled) documentary “In Retrospect: Jessica Nash in the Words of Others.” She has stated in interviews that the album was inspired by singers such as Mickey Cline and Loretta House, but also by DJs such as Sul Ekko. Currently, she lives in Mt. Komorebi and is working on a new film titled “Burglarized.” It is set to be released in 2025.
